a lot has changed since then, but some of my views remain the same
i have already pre-ordered this game, and truth be told, i had already pre-ordered it around the time this post was made

$40 is chump change . Go ask mom n dad to give you money or get a job.
-
Take my money!
-
The poll is saying the majority of people are willing to spend $40...
-
They could do a $60 Taken King + Year 2 Season Pass.. I think that would be good.
-
Im paying 40$ because ive enjoyed the game so far. I really dont care what people say its so repetitive blah blah This is why i play baseball... Everything seems repetitive but its not, its always 100% different, its the same concept but its always different, for se reason i love doing stuff like this
-
1 Antwortenuh you pay 35 bucks 4 season pass and ypu get less stuff
-
How does the poll speak for itself? Did you write that in the first two minutes when two guys voted no... Cuz no it speaks the other way

Brush mixture over top crust. 6. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. 7. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake 40-45 minutes more or until crust is golden and filling is bubbly.

According to your poll, nearly 70% of people will pay the price. Sooo I guess that means that it's not a bad price.
-
Ive put 700 hours into this game. No matter how much i dont like it being 40. New subclasses sound amazing

$40 is a lot if the DLC is the same amount of content as the last two. if it's a larger expansion that $40 could be a fair price. I remember that the original plan was for the Comet expansions to be large and to fill the slot of a yearly game release for the series. So instead of doing a new Destiny game every year (like CoD, for example), they'd do one every other year with a Comet expansion in between each one. That's how it was originally described, with the Comet expansions being packed full of new content. Comet Expansions were described as much larger than the smaller expansions which would be released twice a year. Who knows what it will actually be. But it could be worth $40. It could be crap. We'll have to wait and see. Declaring that you won't pay $40 now , months before release when we know nothing about the content at all seems really premature.

I think all gammers are poor......... Instead of the constant Get gud scrub posts people should start working on get a decent paying job you well fare, food stamp collecting, broke ass. I'll spend 40 bucks on chicken wings tonight, its 40 bucks! I'll spend hundreds each week just doing stuff.

4 AntwortenI see where he's coming from. Saints row gives you a whole new city for 20 bucks, but it has worse graphics and it's not sold on four consoles. There's reasons for the high price guys.
-
"$40?!" "For a Destiny DLC?" *Violently flips over table... Paraphernalia everywhere!!!* or, OR... We just wait for more concrete info, maybe a reveal and/or a review (or two). Then as a mature adult, decide if it's worth the cost to us, and shy away from the childish ridicule of others because they chose a different option.
-
Destiny has brought me tons of value. $40 is nothing for anyone with a job.
-
not sure about the 40 bucks but.... if you dont want to spend your money on it, you dont need to buy it. no need to start a hate topic... there are bound to be some free things like there were on the previous updates. not sure how much of the "leaks" are true but im almost sure when they give us a 3rd subclass that one is gonna be free for all. i guess you only pay for story missions, pvp maps, being-able-to-buy-new-exotics-at-xur, strikes, probably a raid.... dunno. lets wait and see what they actually have in it. if it is a huge update i dont mind spending 40 bucks. if it is just like tdb then i wont buy it, simple as that. no need to scream "BUNGEE U GONA LOOSE 56363456BILLION PEOPLE, DAFAQ". also im hoping for some new hairstyles, beards and other stuff. you know, they already said they gonna expand upon those things (long long ago, in the golden age where the weekly updates sometimes even told you something new). and ofc. to have a stylist npc that can change the way your guardian looks for some glimmer or whatever currency. (humans on the tower, awoken on the reef and if they introduce a new social space then exos on the new one. if not then exos on the tower.) oh, and the catapult fix for titans. then no one is gonna scream "BLINK FOR TITAN PLOX!".

1 AntwortenYour poll is showing the majority of players are going to purchase it. You just destroyed yourself. Lol, get rekt. And if anything, this is more like an expansion than a DLC. The last two were more like a DLC. Re-skinned enemies, re-hashed stories. The Taken King is actually going to add content to the game. New subclasses, new enemies, etc. Keep your $40 and take your girl out to dinner. I'm gonna do the same thing, but that's to butter her up so i can spend another $500 on the expansion, BO3, and an X1. Your little post on b.net isn't going to stop that.
-
Yeah, the poll proves you wrong
-
Where did u guys see all this info?
-
This is gonna be destiny's first real dlc I would pay $60 for it... TDB and HoW are mostly cut content and what we're playing now is mostly what the game should've been at launch. TDB was pretty bad dlc but HoW is great and I would've payed $40 for it. The taken king though..... 3 new subclasses and killing crota's dad (a god) is enough for me to pay my hard earned $40.
-
*whisper*.... check the poll again
-
I'm gonna be gone before taken king is out, I don't care about the price, I just want to stop playing this game.
-
Most likely yes, I'll buy it. However, they haven't announced anything official yet. What will it consist of? How much will it cost (last I checked, Red Bull is not an official Activision spokesperson). Wait for an official announcement, then make the call. And by the way, as of my posting, the vast majority think that $40 is reasonable.
-
1 AntwortenSo, you do realize they haven't shown anything yet on The Taken King, right? So how do you know it is not worth 40$? Cry more you self entitled troll.
-
1 AntwortenDid you ever think that 40$ might be towards a season pass? ... or possibly a false leak? Lol calm down and wait for e3.
-
69% WILL buy the next dlc? How's that poll show the VAST MAJORITY? Rekt
