I've been banned in ToO
Okay, so I have been banned or temporarily banned from Trials for backing out. I'm a decent player with a 1.7 K/D in Trials but backed out, I thought it was harmless to back out to secure my win to the Lighthouse. Well, after reading many posts I have came to the conclusion that it was wrong for what I have done. I feel like I should say sorry to the Destiny community and wanted to say how awesome this community is versus CoD, GTA , etc.. I learned my lesson and hopefully I could play Trials with my friends again. But there is one thing I'm confused on. Out of the 3 in my fireteam was not banned. Only 2 have been banned and surprised about that. Thanks for reading, leave a comment tell me what you think about cheating and the proper punishment should be for backing out several times in trials.
Update: Today I was unbanned from Trials and just want you all to know I went flawless after several hours of playing.

26 AntwortenIt's not really cheating backing out. You're giving the other team a free win too its like helping others get loot while perseving your streak. Plus if you genuinely play this game you know the real cheaters are final round snipers. How long did the ban last?

4 AntwortenI'd rather see bungie ban actual cheaters such as lagswitchers and what not.. But I guess it's easier to spot this than cheaters that actually ruins the whole experience when playing..

Backing out in loading screen can cause the other team a straight up loss on their score card. Has happened to me on more than one occasion, so yes, a temp ban is right, would just be better if bungie actually said what backing out does.

You got what you deserve. Be a man and fight the battle you get yourself into. Those who back out are deemed unworthy by Osiris and for good reasons.

Don't listen to the haters. Bungie has started banning those that quit early so they have an easy path to the lighthouse. Next time, stay in your game-don't leave.

Same here only 2 on 3 were restricted from Osiris and it have been like just for 2 days we have played a little after that and completely legit (check my hunter) after a break from Osiris me and one guy from my team got a weasel error and it s been one week and I still can t use my Osiris stuff again :/

I just love the "I am a dignified cheater" routine. All you people who are patting him on the back for admitting he is a cheating POS are just as bad as him. How is it mature to admit to cheating at A VIDEO GAME! People are here to have fun and maybe get some competition not get cheated by some little schmuck. Hopefully you are banned forever and all the gear you got has an asterisk on it with a flavor text that says "this guy is cheating dick"

I run a solid 2.0 through trials. You run a 1.7. Being there is only a .3 difference, why go through the whole backing out process to begin with? Is one team out of the 7 (8, or 9, pending boons bought) that scary looking that you thought you'd back out? If you had a mercy, why not just try to win. Three Flawless Emblems don't mean anything seeing as I litteraly backpacked someone for their flawless. I think you deserved the ban for now, and whether you are being legit with your statement or just sucking up to get back into trials, I respect the post and admitting fault. Good luck with the unban and hopefully you're back in it for now.
