11 hours on p.o.e. level 35 wave 6 glitched.
This message is directed to the destiny developers. Last night my fire team spent 11 hours trying to complete p.o.e. level 35 wave 6 unsuccessfully. We were all level 34 characters using level 331 and 365 weapons. The first 5 waves went very smoothly, but Skolas's health would not go below 50%. We threw everything we had at him, sniper rifles, machine guns, rocket launchers, everything, and he would not go below 50% health. With no way of going to orbit to try a different server, we were trapped on what was clearly a malfunctioning game server with no recourse. Quitting was not a viable option on wave 6. This was easily my worst experience playing Destiny since I started with Alpha version. I love the Destiny game and the players I've net, but I want this glitch addressed and fixed so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Also, one of fireteam members Moowuh kept getting kicked repeatedly from the game. This happens often with Moowuh for no apparent reason . If anyone at destiny can address this issue it would be appreciated. Thank you.

Try telling your friend to run his connection through either Google DNS or opendns, that cleared up my connection pretty well.

I'm suddenly reminded of a boss from Final Fantasy 11 that a guild spent like 24 hours trying to kill. And this was without wiping if I remember correctly. Square ultimately had to do something to prevent other players from risking their health. Bungie might have to do the same here if these long hour events keep happening.

I'm going to start with a suggestion. If one of your buddies keep getting kicked most likely he is the culprit of any lag you are experiencing. I had a similar issue but didn't take anywhere close to 11 hours. We attempted skolas for just under an hour and same thing one guy kept getting booted our connections went from green to red randomly. So thankfully he finally quit. Once he left we never had any connection issues. It was me and the another guy we got one more and finished it immediately no issues took less than 2 minutes using all gHorns. But even with maxed gHorns before and an extreme amount of experience it was next to impossible due to our third guy with bad connection. I have beaten skolas combined 14 times 5 times this week already. So trust me it was your third wheel with bad connection that cost you all that time. That is of course if you had the proper weapons and some skill.

Just as a side note, he really needs to be dead by the time the mines spawn, if not, someone is going to need to take care of them while the rest of the team continues to damage him. If his health is only a sliver, you should be able to kill him in the next 30 seconds. Just make sure the person you send to disarm the mines doesn't have the curse since they won't be close enough to pass it back if you need more than 30 seconds.

It took me around 3 hours to skolas the first week, 1 and a half the second and around the same the 3rd time... but 11 hours?! I would have just left at the 5 hour mark

Try this. Last week my fireteam and I broke his shield withing 20 seconds than the adds came out so we ran to the other side and sniped from there. Once the adds came by U.S. We run back to the first spot. When the mines start to pop up don't worry about the adds just defuse them first. By this time we had him at 33 percent. Then we defused the second wave of bombs and finished him off. It took between 5 to 10 min. It worked for us it might work for you. By the way I did kill him a bouch of times within 30 seconds. Before the bombs cam out its the fastest but you need good snipers

4 Antwortenmy first poe35 week we got him like 30% left and after that we kept trying doing the same thing he never gets to 50% of health. and last night he kepts teleporting inside our titan bubble and killing us it was annoying they should really lower the amount of adds they are too much ! and its void damage and the captin one shot kill you with his stupid long shotgun

1 AntwortenI hope Deej and Bungie do something cause it make me mad that I can't even do prison of elders level 35 knowing with one shot I'm dead. I have all three guardians at level 34. The crazy part you spend hours and hours nothing is getting done. I know it suppose to be a challenge but even the lower enemies are way to powerful and can't kill them unless you have all three guardians focus on one enemies at a time. I like the game. I would like to play prison of elders a lot even after I got the rewards.
