Personally, I am loving Trials, but would love a to see a mode in Trials of Osiris where there was
[b]what I think[/b]
- no radar
- no super
- no heavy
[b]maybe could have also (discuss)[/b]
- no invisibility
- no shields (Titan, warlock melee)
- no grenades / knifes
- weapons lock on start of round (prevent changing load out)
[b]suggested[/b]
- no exotics
- no revive shields
- swap sides after each round
- [i]ddos menu to select a player and instantly ddos them[/i]
I have no problem with the things mentioned above but just think a more simplified version focusing on guns and not relying on radar would make for some good games (I Think).
[b]edit:[/b] I know with all the suggestions etc it looks bare but this would
- resolve most of the whining about trials
- put actual focus on skill
- focus on legendary weapons and custom rolls and really building a load out to suit you.
- actually make TOO the hardcore pvp like it should be. Especially with the new modes coming in TTK.
[b]edit 2:[/b] why don't we just have custom games so we can explore what we want. Also, to who ever revived this post FU haha.

Trials are fine the way they are, don't feed the enemies (supers won't be an issue) and keep track of their kills and int. Save yours for those situations that you really need them (or don't use them at all - the amount of times I've seen double warlock self-res in the trials is hilarious).

2 AntwortenI posted in a different thread about this but will say there should be modifiers every week where ur only allowed one specific exotic for that week Like scouts Or exotic snipers Or exotic heavy Then a week with exotic hand cannons There's so many good guns to use and doing it this way would let u be able to use then instead of always reverting to exotic hand cannons like the majorities are using in trials now. What ya think ?

2 AntwortenTo be honest, I think supers and heavies are fine. Only one round has heavies and supers are generally a tactical thing. But no radar would be cool. I honestly don't like the radar a lot. Without it everything seems quieter and tactics arise.

Just play CoD if you want that. The abilities are what makes destiny unique.

1 AntwortenI'm all for more options, but this would ultimately be just for fun, since you'll still have the potential ability to access Trials gear from basic Trials. With no bonus incentive, I'd never play a different Trials [i]seriously[/i]. Still would play once and awhile for fun, but that's it. Great post though, OP.

But it is up to RNG as to what you get and you do not get the Emblem that you get now for goin 9-0 -If you go 9-0 you get to choose the gear of your choice. For instance: Jewels of Osiris - void, solar, or arc Messenger - void, solar, or arc The Scholar - void, solar, or arc And so on with all the other weapons. I believe the people who go flawless should be rewarded and distinguished from the others for their abilities and effort. I also believe it should be everyone's goal to go flawless so that they can have some control over RNG and access the weapons they want or do not currently have. Let's face it, PvP is way more challenging than any PvE content. You're dealing with a free thinking opponent. Any PvP only type player can get into a raid with a group and easily hold his own. He may only need to be taught mechanics. Yet he will have no difficulty killing stuff. However, if you place a PvE only type player into ToO and his group of friends, the learning curve is far greater and way more challenging. Possibly impossible. Being that the ToO weapons benefit PvE players do to their (Adept) nature, I feel that the difficulty of obtaining a trip to the Lighthouse should be slightly easier to achieve. Weapons should not be limited to the elite. Especially being that some of these weapons appear to be some of the best currently in game and can create an unfair advantage. But in saying this, in no way should the honor of going 9-0 be diminished. 9-1 is not 9-0. Those players earned it and should be distinguished from all others.

3 AntwortenI like no supers and no heavy but I don't like the no radar. No radar would make the games so slow or too fast. Rushing would be the best strategy because they would never see you coming, also a team could just camp in a high trafficking area.
