So, basically that. This qodron, kaliks, skolas mechanics are pretty stupid. Before accusing me of being too bad player to beat them, think about it. For example this week's 34. WTF man? a lot of 34 yellow ads to kill in the middle of a the bunch of other addS? are you nuts bungie? in the end, everyone ends charging gallys and waiting 5 minutes to get another charge. Just lke qodron. And where is the fun in there? i can't find it....

If they toned down the number of bullet sponge adds it would be fine
-
This is stupid. If the mechanics are too complex/require teamwork and lots of communication, then it's ridiculous. If the mechanics are simple and straightforward then people say it's "dumbed down". Can't please everyone I suppose.
-
Ummmm this weeks 34 is scarily easy. We didnt even shoot the dregs, we killed rest of adds, let Kaliks Gorge on the dregs and then we dropped him before the target even came out the door. No one even synthed.

2 AntwortenNo it's better than having a bullet sponge every single time like in strikes. If you strategise, you can beat every boss legit. My clan did kaliks reborn with primaries and secondaries. It was messy but doable. Skolas I've done legit too, it's tough but doable. You just need to be able to time everything smoothly and hope for a bit of luck!

1 Antwortenthis week's 34 is so easy, have one guy watching your back with arc shotgun, use rockets on servants and the other 2 guys blackhammer him to death.
-
They're both easy enough without smashing them down in 30 seconds.. It's only your fault you don't know how to strategise, not bungies.
-
Qodron reminded me of when me and my group beat VoG for the first time as level 26, 27s. Was so much fun.

Bearbeitet von WorkadayLemur72: 6/7/2015 4:09:51 PMThe whole gjallarhorn/pop synth/ gjallarhorn strat is used if you want to take them down quick. Qoudron and Kaliks do not need that strat at all. For Qoudron you can go far right and with a little bit of communication and coordination, i find it easy and quite fun to do. We even beat it one time without killing the eye of quodron because it was bugged and only appeared once during the whole encounter. Kaliks is even easier. No need to use Just go to the far right platform and just focus on ads using only primaries. Have one or two guys equipped with shotguns to take care of any captain that decide to jump up there. The other can use a sniper(blackhammer is best for this). After clearing the ads focus on kaliks once again using only primaries and sniper. The trick here is knowing when to go all out on kaliks before more ads spawn. If you manage to take his health to almost 50% before the other wave of enemies spawns, take him down with with rockets/HMG. Don't mind the "eliminate the target", just focus on boss, once Kaliks is down, you have plenty of time to kill that captain before he reaches his checkpoint.

Get him a quarter dead snipe him to death then kill your objective. Skolas is the same but with mines instead of kill objective
-
I do hope you are joking. Kill normal adds, let him absorb the majors then blackhammer him to death. Seriously no excuse not to beat him
-
Just walk off to the side for the 34, and the 32 you just don't rush and pick your way through it. Skolas is easy to do without burning him this week. This is an easy week.

I'm having a blast with the new mechanics and usually am excited for the next week to see how it plays out. Just have 1 focus on the Archon Dregs, other adds, and another to focus on him. Simple stuff
-
For kaliks you just want to destroy him 3 4th horsemen will decimate his health
-
You know, the same strat is used for Templar, Atheon, Gatekeeper, Death Singer, Crota. So yeah, dont say the design is flawed just because rockets work.
-
It sucks when the best strategy to beat a boss is to burn him down asap with gally's. I hope they rebalance them a bit.
-
Use fatebringer and a sniper
-
My Answer is Gjallarhorn
-
Not worth the reward to me
-
Heres a tip to fight Kaliks. 1: Kill adds and servants of the archon 2: damage boss 3: let the critical objective finish Not many adds spawn after that and the boss can be killed pretty damn fast.
-
I actually enjoyed the 34 boss fight this week. Clear the 4 waves and then give him all you got!
-
3 AntwortenSo, we get the crota raid and everyone complains it was too easy and boring. Bungie gives us mew and tough mechanics AND YOU COMPLAIN THEY ARE TOO HARD!?!?! *facedesk*
-
1 AntwortenPeople moan the bosses are simply bullet sponges that require no skill. Bungie implement interesting mechanics into fights to switch it up. Same people moan it is now ridiculous, too hard or just a stupid idea. I'm sorry but just learn the mechanics, enjoy it not being a straight up brawl and people need to quit this incessant whining. Bungie can't do everything perfectly but the PoE bosses are really good fun.
-
4 AntwortenI beat PoE 34 this week as a 33.5 without Gally.
-
Kaliks reborn is IMO easier than the pilot servitor (just because of the pilot servitor's giant health pool)

Bearbeitet von Artorias: 6/7/2015 11:54:36 AMBeat Skolas without a single Gjallarhorn this week. Much better than last week with arc burn, where if you don't kill him before ads spawn you're pretty much screwed. Just Gjallarhorn burned the 32 and 34 though, not worth spending heaps of time on them. Got myself an Elder Cipher from Skolas though :D in fact, it dropped for my whole fireteam.
