Sorry to all the Iron Banana players but Bungie made me do it!!!

So in my quest to gain Etheric Light, of which I've received none, I've been forced to turn to desperate measures. I'm 0-9 in nightfalls, so I've tried that method, and I spent hours last week on Qodron (or however you spell that giant medal warden's name) to no avail. So what's my next easiest method to get some elusive Etheric Light...you guessed it, Lord Saladhead and the Iron Banana!!!! I'm a casual, I admit it and embrace it fully, I have a 50+ hour a week job, 3 kids and coach soccer 4 nights a week and weekends. I wish I had more time for Destiny but I don't. I have around 550 hours into the game, which is way more than I ever thought I'd get to but I'm honest enough and content with myself enough to realize I'm not, nor do I ever want to be a hardcore gamer. Tell me to get good all you want, I'm good at life, I'm OK with being below average at a collection of pixels on a screen. So for all of you who run into me in IB I apologize ahead of time for being a sweaty try-hard but Bungie has forced me to do it. For a casual like myself my best option (since RNG in nightfalls is 0-9) for Etheric Light is to grind the heck out of IB and sweat my beans off. So if you see a Lvl 34 Titan shoulder charging and Thorning his way to rank 3 with a KDR of around 1.1 that's likely me. While I do apologize if it causes anyone angst to have me playing like this in their game, just remember, Bungie gave me no other option. Edit: OK so I'm not sure if it's just trolls finally finding this thread or a misunderstanding, but let me paraphrase the whole gist of this thread. I'm terrible at PvP and I know it (that's why I barely ever play it) and I don't have any free time over my current amount of gaming time to get good at it...wish I did but I don't. That being said, since I have yet to have the skill (or in the nightfall's sake luck) to get an EL Iron Banner is a great option. By making the decision to grant EL at level 3 Bungie is pushing a lot of us PvE only players into PvP since it's just a matter of grind not skill to get it. I do apologize if my loadout and playstyle ruin your IB, but I need a couple EL to upgrade my legendary weapons to 365 so my 2 friends and I who play regularly can have a better chance at lvl 34 & 35 PoE. The thing is MANY other players are in my same boat, so unfortunately for players who regularly play IB and want a good competitive experience, you now have to deal with us in your game. Unfortunately Bungie made the decision to have EL not be skill based, but able to be grinded in PvP but not PvE so for a lot of us, this is our best chance to get it.
