It blows this mindless grind out of the water!
Edit: lol you guys are great! I love how half of you consider this destiny bashing (the children im sure) and the other half(that aren't living at home with their parents) make a normal statement about why you are or are not playing.
Never once did i say i dislike destiny nor did i tell anyone they should be playing witcher (but you should). I play both, i enjoy both. The fanboy butthurt is strong.
This community is alot larger and alot more sociable, thats why i posted here, and i just wanted to see if fellow gamers were enjoying an amazing game. Now please continue asking why i posted here (about 50 people so far!) and bring on the fanboys!!!

Well I got it for free, and I'm glad I did because I'd have buyers remorse if I had paid for it. Right now it just feels like work. Only 3 hours in though. The card game seems like an uninteresting and annoying thing too.

4 AntwortenBecause I enjoy Destiny and talking about it on the Destiny Forums. If you enjoy Witcher 3 so damned much, why aren't you playing it and talking about it on a Witcher 3 Forum?
-
4 AntwortenI don't play a lot of indie titles.

I don't have it and I have Skyrim.

Believe it or not I have the Witcher 3 and I can see the games obvious quality but I'm also intimidated by its size and all its content. Seriously, right after after the prologue ( Kaer Morhen ) when you get your horse and it suddenly hit me just how large the world map was and how much content there was. In theory all I had to do was follow Vesimir to an inn but I kept getting distracted by stuff ( gathering materials and ingredients ), exploring ruins, looking for places of power, sub quests. I haven't even gotten to the inn yet to continue the Lilac and Gooseberries quest yet. Needless to say, I have a love hate relationship with open world games. I love all the content but I can also become overwhelmed by to much freedom, especially if I get all this freedom and content too early in a game ( ideally RPGs should be fairly linear up until you've invested 5 or so hours of gameplay time and then you should be given the option to explore more of the world once you begin to understand all the mechanics and once your character gains a certain amount of strength and experience ).

4 AntwortenIt's really not worth the hype, played for a solid 3 hours and didn't find anything notable I liked about it.

3 AntwortenWhy you posting about witcher 3 on a destiny forum?
-
2 AntwortenBecause i play destiny. Which is why im in the destiny forums. Why are you here?
-
Because Destiny's story is much better? I cry every time

I hated the game engine. I dont like how far away you are from the character, hated that you "dart around" when fighting. And hated how there was just no real gripping beggining to it. I litterally got to the gryphon or however you spell that bird lion thing and was like.. this game sucks.. i returned it and just put like 5 plus the money from the game towards ESO. Now, that game will take me from Destiny for sure.

Because we're playing Destiny.

Witcher 3, my easy early pick for GOTY, probably game of the decade.
-
I've tried to play it, not really a fan of the combat system in it
-
Because it looks like a 14 year old boys fantasy.

2 AntwortenCause all witcher is is a guy banging every chick in sight.

Because bloodbourne is superior.

I'll snag it when it hits the GwG discount. I enjoyed 2 but I'm still picking away at Diablo 3 when I break from destiny.

I'm playing both.

I'm level 15 running around Novigrad still. I love it.
