Nightfall etheric light...myth??
Nightfall is my only way of getting hold of the magical light. I am aware of the other methods and before anyone says "get gud" or "you suck" etc... I try.
Has anyone seen it drop in nightfall, I've now done it six times with others, that makes 18 chances. The drops were dire for all and NO light.
I don't need any more exotics as I have them all apart from thorn (get gud!), so am I wasting my time on nightfall?
Thanks for all the feedback, forgot about the new exotics dropping and it seems the stuff is out there... I shall carry on and have a bash at IB as well
Wow.... There is now no doubt the light is out there and is given out at a reasonable rate, my friends and I have just been a tad unfortunate, bring on the reset !

Also 0/18 for etheric light from the nightfall. Thought it was 0/6, which really isn't that unreasonable, but then I read your post, realized that I always do the nightfall with the same 2 guys and their 3 characters, who also have 0 E.L., so it really is 0/18. Thanks for pointing that out.

I only had 38 kills but was being extra careful not to die once, for some reason when I don't die in nightfalls I notice better rewards, not sure if there is any truth to that logic or if its just in my head and it doesn't make a difference at all, but it is something I noticed for me anyway...

I joined last minute with friends and helped beat the boss and got it. LOL so lucky

I got one on my second run... I upgraded the VOC and haven't completed the 32 (only in once and one of the guys quit first round) or played trials at all ... I couldn't have got it any other way so I'm proof I suppose XD

2 weeks 3 characters I've had 3 drop on nightfall.

Week 1 - Nephew got one from Nightfall reward Week 2 - I got 2 Etheric Light drop on 3 nightfalls... Its possible

From nightfalls last week a legendary pulse rifle, exotic helmet, and 10 strange coins. This week legendary fusion, exotic chest, and 1 etheric light. Say a prayer to RNGesus and maybe ya might get blessed.

Just one when I run nightfall this is how it works for me first run legendary second run coins and other crap. This week etheric light and last run always gives me a exotic sometimes weopon but mostly armor. Been like this for two months now. I run solo. hope I can get at least one per week but we shall see RNG..
