Some people may be stuck at level 32 indefinitely.
There are a lot of people, including myself, who don't have a lot of time to play Destiny. And when i do have time, it's rather difficult to round up friends to do the more advanced end game levels and raids and this is the only way you might get Etheric light to max out your gear and weapons and reach level 34. Since Bungie has a ridiculous policy on not allowing matchmaking for much of their more advanced content getting Etheric light is going to be a huge struggle for a lot of people. And the random nature of the Etheric drops will inevitably lead to a percentage of players hopelessly stuck on 32. Before HoW you could at least grind for crucible and vanguard marks and then buy gear and weapons to break down to max your gear out or grind in iron banner.
There really needs to be a better way to reach max level. I still love Destiny, but this is just bad game design. I guess i won't be playing as much Destiny as i hoped.

Seems pretty easy given all those who have gotten there and the many ways to do it! Children have no idea the struggle from 26-27 and 29-30. These level ups too MONTHS literally. Quite bitching about not being able to find time to get etheric light! Also, Raids are supposed to be done with a team of friends which is why there should NOT be matchmaking for it. Just because a player doesn't have friends to do it with is not a reason to add matchmaking!

What's the point of being level 34 if you're not going to do any of the level 34 activities? Etheric light system is perfectly fine as is. Be glad you can at least buy it from IB.

1. Do PoE 32 for armor cores. 2. After three weeks you'll be 34. 3. Do PoE 34 for Etheric Lights. 4. ??? 5. Profit. And don't wait for your friends. Grab two randoms off of LFG and tear it up. Should take more than an hour or so for 32/34. Only 35 Skolas is a real grind.

Bearbeitet von Lib3ralwithaGun: 7/20/2015 10:55:12 PMI used to be in the same boat as you, when raid was the only way to get end game gear, but.....You can get to 34 without ToO, and without PoE 34 or 35. Just make sure you do PoE lv 32 once a week and get the armor core you need to buy the armor the Fallen dude sells in the Reef. It's all light level 42. When you get a full set, you will be level 34. It's much easier than having to grind raids to get high level gear, like you had to do before HoW. Next time you play just go to the tower or reef and send out messages that you need help to do PoE 32. Since you only need 3 people you might be surprised how quickly you can get a game going. Once you get the armor you need to get to level 34, then start doing PoE lv 34 once a week too, and you can get etheric light. At that point it's just about customizing your armor at your leisure.

Lol if anything leveling up is way too easy, took weeks to reach 30, I started from scratch and was 34 in a few hours!

10 AntwortenMost HOW noobs i see are 34 with blues for guns and never or dont know how to do crota or vog. Took months to get to 32. Now takes a few weeks to get to 34. Heres how you find a fireteam. Join a clan. Join a group. Search raidfinders and post, theres a $hit ton. The time you took to post this you could have had a team. Last but not least go to reef and tower. Check roster and start sending friend requests to everyone for half hour. After a week you should have like 300 friends to pick from. Sooooo its not the game, or other guardians, or refusal of no ghorn. If you cant find a fireteam from a over a million players on here then your the problem. By the way im a father of two with limited time to play each week. I have no problem.

1 AntwortenI would suggest adding some fellow random guardians on the forums here, you may meet some nice people, interesting people too, particularly when from a different country. This makes doing the harder endgame challenges a breeze. Just try to avoid people who say 'must have Gally' or 'need experience'. There are plenty of people (like me!) who are happy to help anyone who hasn't done the challenges yet. A couple of Etheric Light and you'll be golden. Add RalphMangifesta

4 AntwortenI have no friends IRL that play this game. I work around 45 hours per week. I have a wife and a daughter. Yet, I seem to have no problem getting everything I want ascended. In the time it took you to type this post, you could have found a fireteam in #recruitment for any activity that you wanted to do. Instead, you decided to come on here and bitch. No sympathy for you or people like you.

Bearbeitet von JHarv: 7/20/2015 10:39:29 PMi feel you. it straight up isn't easy to get your first few etherics. lots of people forget, but when we did it when the expansion first came out, we were all in the same boat. we were all level 32-33 running 34 content. but now, only 34's will take 34's for the content that gives you etherics. so if someone is level 32, how exactly are the supposed to get to 34, if you can only get etherics from level 34 content that nobody will take them on? i guess you just do the 32 poe for an armor core, do that for 3 weeks straight, then you'll have 3 armor pieces. plus there's an exotic. that said, i feel you. it sucks. when you've fallen behind, there's no real easy way to catch up. but that's just how this game is. otherwise, go find a group of 32-33's and try to grind out that 34 content for etheric light. i was lucky leveling up my warlock recently, because i have a pile of etherics stashed in the bank. but i couldn't imagine how much it would suck if i had one character at 32, trying to somehow get to 34...

Getting to the highest level is easiest its ever been? You can get to 34 solo with the help of iron banner when it's around? They made it ridiculously noob friendly to get to 34 there should be no complaints...

No, I disagree. If you don't have enough time to reach max level then I am sorry but this game isn't for you. Destiny demands you play alot to be able to grind and get what you need. That is literally how it was designed. It was way way to easy to get to 34 in the house of wolves. It's not hard. Get some people do the level 32 poe you get an armour core. Buy a peice of armour. Wait a week do it again for another armour core. Upgrade an exotic. Bam 33 and a half. Either wait another week or run the 34 poe. There is so many ways to find groups its rediculous I'm sorry but just no.

U have a level 33 character.

You can get to 33 by one upgraded piece of armor and one upgraded exotic piece of armor. 34 takes a bit longer.
