...to see all the tears that broke down on the forums. Goddamn. Life's a bitch when you can't dump a truckload of Gally rockets on an NPC and call yourself 'good', isn't it ?
Edit - just to comment on the current mentality going on around here about the prize Bungie created called the "Light House":
You pay to play the game which in turn rewards you based on your performance. Your money doesn't buy you direct access to the prizes the game has. It's like that on every other game. If you want to throw that out the window, fine. But then please be sure to drop the Vex on my postmaster. I paid the game and I want it without having to spend days in circles killing NPCs. In fact, give everything to everyone since we all paid for the game.

Doubt I will ever get lucky enough to go to the lighthouse... awe well... elder scrolls came out... maybe I'll dabble in that for awhile

4 AntwortenThe lighthouse cutscene was amazing, the feeling of reward, second to none.

Some enemy killed us and made it 1-2 for them and started tbagging us. We won 4 straight rounds and tbagged them. We got matched up with them right away which I thought couldn't happen in trials btw. We beat them again, this time 5-0. Gj tbaggers.

2 AntwortenThe best part for me was thorn users thinking they're good for landing a shot each and letting lingering damage kill me, no skill required, especially if it's a full team of them.... -blam!-ing scrubs

5 AntwortenBest part of trials has to be how it made 99% of the pvp community look and act like complete dicks. Kinda shows how people dont play because its good, but because they like hurting others. The actual best thing about trials is how the comically bad flaws in destinys pvp are bloated to a huge level, maybe one day it wont be completely broken and might require 'skill' as everyone claims it does

Lmfao well said

when I self res'd and killed all three guys on the other team with one firebolt grenade.
-
Lol. I'm not even that good at crucible and I made it to seven wins. Seriously would have made nine, but team mate went AFK twice.
-
1 AntwortenBest part was feeling the intensity again. Getting nervous, plotting, pulling out some clutch wins. It was great

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Artesians: 5/26/2015 3:45:01 AMIf you spec unconventional, non-meta gear, be prepared to change your play-style. I don't understand how people complain about using Thorn, if the objective of the Tournament is to win, and Thorn is one of the best weapons to use. I don't mind, I use The Messenger lmao. My favorite part was when I clutched a flawless passage with Sunsinger.

2 AntwortenI am by no means good at pvp in any way but I tried the trials a little bit and got my ass handed to me - but I did notice one thing The trials does not truly show the skilled pvp players Every game was basically a one shot kill fest and I saw a lot more skill in crucible matches where a few people could dominate a whole opponents team - the trials was basically one skilled player or a team trying to get the first kill and then most games were basically over I see more skill in a player averaging 20 and 5 k/d ratio in crucible matches as compared to dominating in the trials - maybe it is just me but a one or two shot kill fest does not show true skill Make the maps bigger and make it 6 on 6 and then the elite pvp players will really have a challenge and should brag like crazy when they dominate Won't see me there but it would be exciting to watch a few great teams go at one another

Who gives a -blam!-? Its a game. No I didnt go to the lighthouse. Yes I had fun doing the trials. I also have fun in PoE and earlier in Crotas End and earlier in The Glass Vault. I also have fun in crucible and IB. Win or lose. I dont have to run around with thorn to show how "leet" I am. I sport a NLB/ vestian dynasty in the crucible when I feel like it, because its fun. Games are supposed to be fun. But you Sir, are a prick.

14 AntwortenBungie needs to frigging tell people before they buy a product that the rewards will be locked to like 10% of the customers. That way no one will buy their trash. Trials is garbage. Tried to get 9 - 0 on my Titan and ran into teams who all went flawless trying to stop people. Only managed to get flawless on my warlock. I don't mind a challenge but 9 - 0 is just plain dumb. I could see 9 wins with loses as somewhat doable for more players. This is Destiny.... a fun relaxing game that is social. If you want to make this into a competitive pvp game be my guest buy you are a moron. Lol. I mean really dude. You are soooooooo good at Destiny pvp? Who frigging cares. Bungie alienated countless customers and made people play content they do not like with very little chance of succeeding.

Me and my mate attempting to high five on mercury and deciding a point for him and a wave for me was close enough (his wave was a salute) we laughed and took in the view, and proceeded back into trials to get our sub to 5 wins for the armor. All he wanted he said. Lol

1 AntwortenI like seeing people back out cause my level/emblem/grimoire score. Happens all the time
-
The best part is when it pops up in the bottom corner showing you have ended your opponents score card, always give them a wave goodbye ha

I have 2 best parts. There was that moment when I tried the trials with a couple friends. One sucked and the other was kinda good I guess. We lost. My sucky friend and I laughed about it and remained as friendly as ever, the other raged quit and went to tell our mutual friends that I sucked so much balls in PvP. Even tho I had the highest score, was the last man standing the most, and unlike him, kept communicating during our games. He preferred staying silent and not call out ennemies locations. Them there was this other time, where I tried with 2 other peeps. One had a total score of 2 kills (but wateva), and the other only used his mic for one round. One round where he said that the coast was clear for a revive, when there was a sniper and a auto rifle waiting for me right on his dead body. Then he raged I guess, and turned off his mic. Not a peep was ever heard from him for the remainder of the trials. Oh well

Damn... That must've stung

13 AntwortenSomebody doesn't have a jellyhorn. Takes way more skill to run a raid than it does to spam a thorn everywhere. But then, you wouldn't know that.
-
...finally a reason to use thorn. Man the gun was just sitting in my vault and was maxed out within an hour. lol
-
The best part was not finding a team through lfg good enough to string together enough wins. So many people seriously over estimating their abilities. The most I got was 7. Also confirming that there are a couple of weapons that need rebalancing, along with a a whole weapon class (auto rifles).
