PVP sucks major lag ass lemons. Bungie keep pushing and pushing it as a way to elongate minimum material. And they haven't included matchmaking for one -blam!-ing area of Destiny where you can get Etheric light.
Go -blam!- yourself Bungie, you have dramatically changed what Destiny was supposed to be. Watch your player base get smaller and smaller as you eliminate casual, solo and PVE only players.

IB has matchmaking and you can get two from there. You must have a very shitty connection if lag is such an issue, I have lag only on very few occasions. You can solo NF, or try.

Wow! I soloed IB this week and got to rank 5 on my warlock and a quarter away from 5 on my hunter.

It's really not hard to get to rank 3 or 5 in iron banner.. Especially the day before reset. There's 2 right there

Casual players don't need to be above 32, as literally every piece of endgame content requires a fireteam. 2. solo players don't need to be above 32, for the same reasons as the casual playerbase - they don't participate in any activities above level 32. 3. non-casual PvE players use LFG sights or already have a network of people they play with in order to participate in endgame content. Destiny has never catered to solo players before - you've always had to participate in group-based content to reach the max level and get the best gear (IB & raids). The philosophy hasn't changed.

The only way to hit max level in destiny has always been through team focused activities. Prior to HoW, it was through raids and IB. Now there are multiple ways to get the necessary mats, and you're complaining? PoE ToO IB NF Four different places where it can drop. Three of which are guaranteed, if you don't utterly suck. You want it? Work for it. Just like everyone else. It's no different than before.

None of my RL friends play, but I have found shit loads of people to play with and have a regular crew I play with too. Just go looking dude, be pro-active.

This game was never intended to be a solo based game, if you want that go and play the Witcher or something. It is also very easy to find people to play with, these forums and various other sites full of people looking to play together

I usually play solo but have began to love lfg. It's there so make use of it.

Iron Banner. You can queue solo. No need for a fireteam, plenty of EL on offer, new buff means levelling is super easy once you rank 5 your first character. There is the lag, yes, but as a solo player you will likely get far better matches than people running with a team. It's there as an option, to rule it out and claim that no option exists is to lie to yourself.

PvP players were bitching about how PvP is pointless and everything is for PvE, now bungie is all like, "let's make HoW even more shittier than TDB by making everything PvP based to get all the good shit" that's y I quit playing but stay on the forums to see how much shittier this game can get, ain't no way the Destiny series is going on for 10 years, bitches be like, "wait for Comet, it'll be a game changer" I be like, "bitch, there ain't no comet until bungie says there is, leaked files don't mean shit, it could be shit they thought about adding but decided not to, I don't believe leaked info unless it's from the creators" Destiny 2 is already -blam!-ing ruined, one reason is the new character, "the lore master" only way to level up is to share stories bout your adventure, shittiest thing I've heard yet, second reason, being able to transfer characters, everyone is already OP as -blam!-, let's just have them transfer their characters so that they can complain about how boring the game is, third reason, "improved story line", bitch, ain't no one giving a -blam!- bout story unless it actually makes sense for once, everyone still wants to know what happened to the stranger but Bungie won't tell us a damn thing about that, I rest my case

Incase you haven't noticed, this game isn't catered to solo players in the slightest. There's a reason they want you to play with a fire team and most things can't be soloed with relative ease. They want you to play with people don't have friends? LFG and the forums are a great place for you.

2 AntwortenIn case you haven't noticed you get etheric light from events where being lv 34 matters. If you don't do PoE, ToO, or IB then you don't even need etheric light.

If you could get it solo it would be way to easy to get and would already have everything at 365. Just hit up forums. It's not hard to get a fireteam for a nightfall, thru can be pretty casual and complete it easy.

I just leveled all 3 of my characters to level 5 in IB. No team for me, all solo. But besides IB once a month, yes it is a pain to get Etheric Light. Especially when you have no mic and no friends online playing Destiny.

IB is a solid way to get it, I got my lock on the cusp of 5 and hunter and titan at lvl 3 so far and I did this solo and being an average player at best. For the rest just use LFG man. Since I work 3rd shift and just moved to the xbone its been more difficult than normal but if you reach out there are plenty of people who will help you along the way.
