I suck at PvP. May give the Trials a shot for s&g's. Other players shouldn't lose what they've gained just because I haven't committed to PvP.

I haven't gotten it. Why should it be removed? For people who have worked hard and put their best into the pvp side of this game, more power to them.

I have not gone 9-0 and pending a miracle, I probably never will. That said, access to the Lighthouse is irrelevant for me. If the Lighthouse was a strike or story mission I'd be bitter, but it's not. Giving exceptional (yes I know not every 9-0 person is) ToO players access to this area is awesome in my opinion. And who knows, maybe a separate social space for exceptional PoE players will come some day (both being 3v3 makes carried players less likely, which is good and bad I guess). But for now, you go and dance in the Lighthouse all you want and I will passively (and jealously) watch

No everyone can reach it. It might take time hard work and patients but most people can get there if they have the time and dedication

No. If people can't reach it they don't deserve to be there, simple, PvP finally has something to itself, there shouldn't even be a question on this. Mercury is a reward for doing well in the Trials, plain and simple.

If you suck and can't reach it that's your own problem.

I spent 7 hours trading in cards with 0-2 wins on them.... 7 HOURS!!! But then a perfect pair of my clan mates joined, and I was able to go to the lighthouse twice! I rarely play crucible, so this is proof that with the proper support, some handy boons, and proper strategy, you too can do it.

finally a nice reward for being skilled at PvP, and I'm not great at it, but it takes a lot of skill to go 9-0 and they deserve it

I don't think it should. Personally I've gone flawless 4 times and it wasn't too difficult. You've just gotta use good tactics and analyse opponents before going into it.

Why shouldn't the best pvp players get some great end game content? Getting access to lighthouse was the most satisfying destiny content for me. Now to get three more wins on my hunter so I can get the jewel of Osiris.

No it shouldn't. And I haven't even got there yet myself. But it gives me something more to aim for other than just the 8 wins on the card for the tier rewards at Vance.

6 AntwortenHaving something for the PvP crowd is good. Iron Banner doesn't cut it for them, honestly. I'll never see it (Lighthouse,) but that's because I am terribad at PvP. My one beef is that you can't get a void scout rifle without good PvP skill/luck. Elements don't matter in PvP, /sigh.
