It's MUCH harder to reach Lighthouse on Xbox Live than PSN
Xbox live players(xbox one users in particular) are at a greater disadvantage and have a tougher time to "flawlessly" get to to the lighthouse. If you could see all the negativity on the forums for the ToO, you would conclude that they are xbox live users. Only PSN players post about reaching the lighthouse easily several times.
Most Xbox live users are highly skilled gamers and more competitive. This is why all tournaments and top broadcasters and media play on Xbox live while PSN is more for the casuals and scrub-like gamers and squeakers who just play for fun and get disconnected everyone once in a while due to a horrible network. Anyone on PSN could go 9-0 by being teamed up against a majority of the casual gamer base. And having this 9 times in a row is highly possible
If you were to take a team of three from PSN and put them on Xbox, they would fail. Easily! blaming how the controller sits in your hand is not an excuse. Squeakers, stoners, drunks, and especially Asian, among other people, would destroy the PSN team
In conclusion. PSN is mostly for the casuals and scrubs while xbox live is much competitive and the true earners of the lighthouse. Any posts about reaching the lighthouse on PSN does not hold as much value as hearing it from xbox live users.
Edit: clearly some of you are and will always be salty talking about different consoles. Just agree that xbox is more competitive and thus harder to make it to the lighthouse than playstation. Quit defending how ps4 has better graphics and is cheaper. That's a cop out.

Edit 3: very salty people these days. Keep attacking me so you can feel better about yourselves. I feel bad for you. Glad to see a lot of guardians agree about xbox being more competitive. Truth hurts sometimes.
Edit 4: the current mtu glitch on ps4 is proof that this method makes it even more easier to get to the lighthouse. That's why everyone is doing it. You can't do this on xbox.

Not really, psn has a few good players and the rest is all average to above average. The spread on xbox is bigger, you're facing either a team of total pro tryhards or insanely big noobs. Even if ps players were less good then it would still be the same, if you're average then you'd be playing against players of the equal skill level on both consoles.

Lots of Xbox players bought a ps4 instead of a xb1. Those same competitive players game on psn. Trials is a competitive game mode period. Your argument is poor and childish, teenagers these days. Well Op kinda has a point (even though i have a higher kd in trials than him probably ps4 player base i guess..) I did play destiny on xbox one and I can say from what I've seen it's difference in skill level but not much you can definitely notice a difference in raw skill (not using thorn and running away) so op has a point I did enjoy xbox on my friends account at his house cause its much more competitive I wanna get a xbox one but I don't wanna restart my character and get all my weapons again

6 AntwortenI play on PsN, I agree to some point.. When I played COD Xbox was always more competitive. But for destiny I'm not sure it makes a huge difference for consoles tbh.. PsN is worse with connection... Could make PSN harder than Xbox for that problem !

This is your opinion and i respect it. But you saying "xbox live players are more competitive and better in general" where are your facts to prove that? I say, there are just a larger playerbase on psn compared to xbl thats why there are more bad players that you can matchmade with compared to xbox. But competitive players? Id say its about the same number.

I actually think the reason it's easier is because on Xbox you have immature idiots that only think about themselves and ditch clan mates and never help them run trials because they are salty about things that happened before. So anybody got room in a helpful good clan I'm open to join

Triplewrek essentially said the same thing in his stream last week during the first ToO if i recall. Xbox is more competitive and it would be harder.
