Maybe "The Taken King" will be much better than "House of Wolves"?
Maybe they learned that's easier to do the things properly and not cutting and selling small content in DLC's.
The first missions, Patrols, Last mission, Prison of Elders, those guns, shaders, PVP, the music, ability to hear enemies voice!
Have no regrets about purchasing DLC, what about you guardian?

11 AntwortenI dont think comet is the actual name. There are too many rumors about it to separate truth from fiction. But ill probably end up buying it. HoW was way better than TDB in my opinion. I feel like this game is getting better with the storytelling and has potential to be good as Destiny was hyped to be before the game released in September.

The first installment of Destiny hardly warrants a judgement call on the entire run. That said, Bungie did not impress a lot of players with a lot of things. The game is fun, but I am not sure it is that much fun. I got my money's worth from it now and I did not complete HOW. Probably won't due to it being SSDD, in a new dress! From that perspective, I will do what I did before I buy anything as an investment (my time or money), wait for you to try it and read the reviews. Let it get bug fixed a few times then read the forums. When complaints are meaningful, I stay away, when they are like I usually read here, I buy in. Hope this was useful to someone. There are no refunds and selling back is a joke (<<$).

They did a phenomenal job with house of wolves and we might get the strike later as well. So yes, I will buy the next DLC as long as I keep seeing improvement within the game (I'm seeing leaps and bounds here)

Depends, if it's another $20 then probably not until it's on sale. I haven't bought any DLC for destiny and so far don't need any as I don't see it adding that much gameplay value. But we'll see what comet brings. Bungie gained back a little of my respect by adding the ascend feature so if they keep on that track I'm more inclined to buy it. (Like it will be free... Come on. That's a pipe dream, this is activision we're talking about. It will probably be another $50)

3 AntwortenActually, TDB had much less content because it was planned from the beginning. That's why so much was in the coding. House of Wolves, however, was still planned, but it was mostly an idea. They took player feedback and made new ideas that resulted in HoW, [i]much[/i] better than TDB. I look foward to anything after it, brcause those DLCs have been pretty much only ideas. So tons of new stuff and feedback will go into them.
