YOU CAN CHARGE THE SCORCH CANNONS!
Please stop just spamming the trigger when you get them, it's a waste. If you hold down the trigger it will cook and do more damage when you release it and kill what you stuck and everyone around him. Please stop wasting shots, I know it's fun incinerating your foes quickly but a charged explosion is better and more satisfying.
Edit: for clarification charging it doesn't mean you charge the shot before shooting it, when you press and hold the trigger the shot will stick to a surface and explode when you release. The longer it cooks the large the blast radius. Basically it's a rocket/sticky grenade launcher.
Edit2: more clarification, I made this post with the intent of spreading awareness, not everyone knew you could do this so I wanted to make sure people knew before the DLC drops.
Edit3: since I've seen the exact same strategy posted several times over I shall add it here so people see it/stop constantly reposting it:
- launch a shot below drop ship
-charge
-wait till enemies land
-make them go boom

I try to charge. I've soloed the bosses with a half scorch cannon by charging. In a group they tend to kill your targets before you can get a reasonable charge. Oh and [b][i][u] REVIVE PEOPLE[/u][/i][/b] if you die and the group kills the last wolf before you get back and do damage, you miss out on the ether key and can't open the chest. 26 and under stay away. You can't even scratch their armor. They will stand there and laugh at you, then proceed to crush your skull beneath their boots. I'm sorry that's just how it is.

when the ship comes, shoot under the ship on the ground where they drop. Charge it. Let go. Watch entire wave disintegrate

Also i'll have an enemy with the thinnest sliver of health and a relic holder will waste a shot. These are usually the same guys using void weapons lol

Charge up a shot as the ship is about to drop them. When they land on your glowing orange ball of death release that trigger and I'm sure you can figure out what happens next. ..

The stick and charge is situational. I've already found that shooting the mobs without charging kills way more enemies faster. Use the shots and go back to my gally. Ends the waves much faster. Only charge on the yellow bars as the regular enemies get killed before explosion

Anybody besides me feel like it is backwards? I mean like... I feel like it should charge and then shoot... I dunno. But yeah, way better charged. And not gonna hate on this post, really does seem like a lot of people don't know. I didn't until the third bounty I did.

1 AntwortenPro tip: shoot the ground right below the drop ship and hold charge until the enemies drop down and BOOM goes the dynamite.

Also, stop shooting th enemies directly. Shoot the ground below them before they drop and cook it to level two. I'm tired of being the only one who can kill the whole wave with one explosion but when others take the guns they just waste all the shots on single targets.
