Please stop watching streamers.
Correction. PleAse stop donating money to these people. They are playing a video game that's nothing anyone should be able to make living doing. I'm not jealous, I'm disgusted. I've spent the last 20 years playing video games and as much as I love them I would never let people pay to watch me play. It's a [b][u]GAME[/u][/b].
All I have ever seen is these "top streamers" treating people like shit and being whiny. Why are people paying them. Personally I don't even understand why someone would want to watch someone else play a game, but whatever to each his own. But to pay them.... What are you even thinking.
Can we put an end to this now? No more man children getting paid to act like fools and play video games.
& if you are one of those streamers reading this, go get a real job that benefits the world, you sad,pathetic wastes of space.

Yup. I had no idea people got paid until this broman guy got so much heat. I found his twitch channel and saw someone donate???!!!! Wtf? He says something like "you are beautiful and i love you, thanks for the tip", i'm paraphrasing. That's like a nerd version of a stripper, but that analogy doesn't even work. I'm baffled. OP: i'll continue to not watch twitch and not "tip" these assholes. It's the new "facebook" generation. I swear we have never seen anything like this in the history of humanity. The level of narcissism is astounding. Everyone wants to be a fuking F list celebrity. It's a byproduct of the internet, it was inevitable and on the flip side, it will pass eventually. Saturation will set in as it has already started to. People started talking about themselves, posting about themselves, pics of their personal lives, blogging...... now we have nerds with asperger's syndrome getting "tips" to play video games while a camera points at their face. I never watch streams and i dont like live shows that cant be paused or reiwnded, so im no1's fanboy. You can say what you want about how people should organize their own money, cuz freedom of speech and all. But you cannot judge people's way of having fun... It's their decision...do i find it stupid ? It depends. Would i ever donate to some streamer ? hell no. Do i understand why people does it ? Yes i do.

4 AntwortenI can agree some of destiny's top streamers have shitty attitudes. But streaming is a job. streaming creates entertainment. entertainment is a BIG part of the economy and has been for sometime. Streaming is basically a movie or tv show. and people make money from those.

Personally, I'd never pay to watch a streamer, I never watch them full stop, I don't get it. But if someone wants to, that's their business. I'm sure I enjoy things that not everyone will enjoy.

How is any other job better? Aren't you told you should do what you love? Who cares if that's what they do to make money? They're doing what they love, and you shouldn't care this much to call them sad pathetic wastes of space. Because the more you talk, the more space you're wasting. Simply because someone is doing what they love and making money off of it doesn't make them sad or pathetic, it means that they don't have to spend the rest of their lives doing something they hate and being miserable for the rest of their lives. You should at least be happy that there are people in this world who made a living out of nothing. So next time you decide to think that someone who makes money in the video game industry shouldn't be allowed to; think about the job you have. Because while you're full of hate for someone in the video game industry, make sure you realize how sad and pathetic you are.

I think you're wrong. I think we as humans have been blessed to go down whatever path we choose. I can sling drugs and make money. Anyone can. Anyone can stream and make money. It disgusts me that there are people like you in the world. Denying people's career paths. That's absurd. You're just jealous. A person should be free to make a living doing anything they please as long as it makes them happy, and if they entertain others while doing then that's only a good thing. It just shows the driven, clever and creative nature of the those that do it.
