Please stop watching streamers.
Correction. PleAse stop donating money to these people. They are playing a video game that's nothing anyone should be able to make living doing. I'm not jealous, I'm disgusted. I've spent the last 20 years playing video games and as much as I love them I would never let people pay to watch me play. It's a [b][u]GAME[/u][/b].
All I have ever seen is these "top streamers" treating people like shit and being whiny. Why are people paying them. Personally I don't even understand why someone would want to watch someone else play a game, but whatever to each his own. But to pay them.... What are you even thinking.
Can we put an end to this now? No more man children getting paid to act like fools and play video games.
& if you are one of those streamers reading this, go get a real job that benefits the world, you sad,pathetic wastes of space.

It includes music, comedy, education of the game, companionship, a community. You don't get it. People go to streams and find other like-minded souls, they find a person streaming who often times can relate to them and they discuss with them all sorts of things in life. There's more to it, you've erroneously passed judgement, friend. Rethink how you want the world to think of you and learn from your behavior; maybe next time you won't come off as a cold clueless twat.

I enjoy watching streams when it's slow at work and I can't play. Sometimes you learn things you otherwise would have never known. I agree some of the top steamers are asses but to each his own. It's a new generation with e-sports becoming a thing and moving up. Back in the day people thought the same thing about soccer, football, baseball, & basketball + a lot of really popular athletes are total asses too. What happens will happen, posting on forums isn't going to change that

I personally don't enjoy watching many streamers. The big exception is Brownman (Ray). Since he's a good guy and pretty funny as well. How someone makes a living in video games/streaming is non of your damn business in the first place.

I stream all the time I play. If someone can learn, benefit, or enjoy from watching my gameplay, it makes it worth while for me. Just my opinion.

I watch streamers to learn new tricks and to check out games I'm interested in buying. But I would never pay to watch these people. I've never understood why people would.

It's entertainment. They are creating content that amuses people, and those people pay to be entertained. It's how TV, the movies, plays, etc. work as well. Do you pay for cable or another TV service? Then you're paying to be entertained as well. It's what those people are doing to entertain you that changes, and different people prefer to watch different things.

I'm not a streamer or a stream watcher but I've playing video games for the past 40 years, and I've got zero problem with someone capitalizing on something that they're both good at and that they enjoy doing. I've got a sneaking suspicion you're dissatisfied with your work life. In any case, you should take some of your own advice and grow up. Take responsibility for something that you can control, your own life & career choices, and stop concerning yourself with what everyone else does and enjoys. You'll be a lot happier and prevent a lot of unnecessary stress.
