Just curious but... Why? Just why?
Xbox One receives a lot of hate. There was a large main reason why people disliked Xbox one when it first launched, but Microsoft realized they done -blam!-ed up and fixed it. Now people piggyback without any REAL explanations. It's extremely idiotic. Tell me, what are YOUR reasons for disliking Xbox one besides those initial launch problems such as no return backs on games, games always at 60$, and live being a necessary purchase? Hmm??? I have an Xbox one and it is perfect aside from the shizzy storage. That's it. Otherwise, they are literally same consoles (ps4 and Xbox one), different layouts, companies, exclusives, all the good biz. Now lay it on me, guardians. Why Xbox one not up to your standards? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm waiting. If it's a good response, I'll give it to u. If not, stfu.
Edit: to all those saying Xbox one is not 1080p, it does in fact run 1080p. However, certain games (an example being CoD Ghosts which was trash anyways), weren't able to make 1080p. Only cause of ps4's [i]slightly[/i] stronger core capabilities. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ still not enough to say they are not virtually same console and console wars is justified. As an Xbox owner, I can confirm Xbox does have some problems. However, all these are being patched with numerous updates. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have a ps4 because I like the PS controller better and TBH the graphics are slightly better on ps4. You don't realize it until you are playing the same game side by side but it's there just try it ( friend has both hooked up side by side in his game room). Other than that, my 75 PS3 friends are still playing PS so I upgraded to ps4. It all comes down to preference and what console your friends are playing on though.

I sometimes just say it for fun, but as you said: there's no big difference. First I wanted to buy both consoles but after Microsofts shitty reactions to comments of the community I decided to not buy the XBone. I liked playing with the 360 and my ps3 but on the long run, playstation has the more interesting exclusives for me, what doesn't mean that I don't play Halo with my friends on their XBone ;) All this hating only comes from those extremists that have a very small mind and this is definetely the minority of the gamers.

Always bought playstation. I had minecraft for ps3 so I needed a ps4 to upgrade.

I dont hate "the xbox one", i own one myself tho i play ps4 always. Xbox failed me when the 360 came out, i personally bought 2 after the red ring of death F'd the first one. But then all these kids acted like xbox 360 was the greatest thing and constantly talked sh×t about ps3. Ive heard more $hit talkin and hating on the ps3 from 360fanboys than ANYTHING else. So what goes around comes around i guess. And the whole this isnt "just a game system" approach and inferior hardware (even if u cant really notice it now) just makes them seem more about money and marketing than about "gaming"

Xbox is my main console but I have a ps4, I know ps4 isn't the ps3, but ps3 was the final straw in keeping xbox as my main console. There are many things I simply like better about the xbox than the ps4, but both are great systems.

You'd have no disc, sharing disabled, always online, no potential for trade in, leased licensed content that had to be downloaded and stored on your harddrive with a kinect camera always watching you lol. When you get right down to it, people say "It's the thought that counts" for a reason, and it's not always a positive.

Because if some guy bends me over, unzips and doesn't have the courtesy to even get the Vaseline out, then because a bunch of people burst in and shame him into stopping just before he rips me open he zips up and "apologizes", well, I won't be shaking his hand after that will I? I play ps4 because it's just the console I've always had (Sony).The only deciding factor for me is the pads,and I've since learned you can get 3rd party crossovers anyway :/

1 AntwortenI won't try to bash Playstation, but I will at least try to defend Xbox. Two big things that keep me there are the controllers (swear they're Nokia's cousin or something) and the achievements. Never liked the idea of trophies, I'd prefer some numeric value.

Not saying one's better than the other, but I did have to port forward just to join parties. And if the party host is bad, some people can't be heard. Glad they're starting to fix them
