Just curious but... Why? Just why?
Xbox One receives a lot of hate. There was a large main reason why people disliked Xbox one when it first launched, but Microsoft realized they done -blam!-ed up and fixed it. Now people piggyback without any REAL explanations. It's extremely idiotic. Tell me, what are YOUR reasons for disliking Xbox one besides those initial launch problems such as no return backs on games, games always at 60$, and live being a necessary purchase? Hmm??? I have an Xbox one and it is perfect aside from the shizzy storage. That's it. Otherwise, they are literally same consoles (ps4 and Xbox one), different layouts, companies, exclusives, all the good biz. Now lay it on me, guardians. Why Xbox one not up to your standards? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm waiting. If it's a good response, I'll give it to u. If not, stfu.
Edit: to all those saying Xbox one is not 1080p, it does in fact run 1080p. However, certain games (an example being CoD Ghosts which was trash anyways), weren't able to make 1080p. Only cause of ps4's [i]slightly[/i] stronger core capabilities. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ still not enough to say they are not virtually same console and console wars is justified. As an Xbox owner, I can confirm Xbox does have some problems. However, all these are being patched with numerous updates. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You can't ask a question and then exclude the main reasons why people hate it. 1)Microsoft flat out told their dedicated fan base that their 'always online' system is the future and anyone who had a problem with that should continue to use their old, last gen system. 2)Microsoft focused way too much time pushing and implementing and justifying Kinect, forcing early adopters to buy one only to drop the Kinect from future SKUs. 3)Because of their over reliance on Kinect they gimped their processing power. 4)Most Multi-platform games on Xbox One run at lower frame rates and at lower resolutions. Why pay a lump sum for a system that is inferior? 5)their whole idea of eradicating the option of used games was sleazy at best. The list goes on. It isn't about hating just to hate, Microsoft is a shady company with a very shady history.

Now here's the real question. Why do people hate Xbox One if the services are more reliable? Ok yes, in the beginning they weren't the best, but hey. No Destiny connection issues unlike the PS4.

I prefer not having to stare at ads when I boot up my system. That's why I went with the PlayStation.

don't listen to the ps nubs and just let them live in ignorance. funny thing is the exclusives weren't even enough to keep me playing destiny on ps. didn't have any issues trying to play today.. hah

I own both. Nothing wrong with Xbox at all. I just really prefer PlayStation. Always have. I like what it offers. Xbox has its perks too but it's not geared towards my preferences. But you bet I will get Halo 5. :)

2 AntwortenI dislike Xbox simply because i prefer PlayStation. That's really the only reason for me, well that and i like the PlayStation layout better. Though Xbox has its uses, it just isn't my personal preference. Mostly based on the controller size because as stereotypical as it is the PlayStation controller is easier for small girl hands lol That's my reasoning though, simple personal preference.

The PS4s hardware superiority is actually much greater than you're letting on (or realize), and you being so dismissive about it gives lie to any unbiased claim you pretend to. Do a little research. However, that hardware superiority is made less consequential because developers will most likely not utilize all of the PS4s potential until much later in its life cycle. Still, Microsoft (not the actual XBox) has their merit, with their infrastructure and support... and, for me, I strongly favor the XB One controller over the PS4s. But what really tipped the scales for me was how out of touch Microsoft obviously was with their own customers. Yes, they've tried to correct course, and have even done a good job at it. It is still indicative of a company with an unhealthy and conceited view of their own customers, and I refuse to do business with such a company. It is a matter of integrity and self worth, as well as promoting a healthy image of the gaming community and securing better products in the future. I do hope MS learned their lesson, and they in deed make a better console next generation.

the main issues I had with xbox one initially was the interface was so different than 360 and for many things that used to be easy on 360 was not intuitive or simply flat out broken on xbox one. For a gaming console it seemed like friend lists and setting up parties was just broke. It's as if microsoft put all their effort into making a media console and forgot that xbox is used to play video games, it was an afterthought.

I own both and love both, but when I really think about it, PS4 has the better graphics and the One has Halo. Both win.

The first one took a month and a half to get back "repaired". The second one took a month... I wanted to support an American product, but that's just unacceptable. Funny thing was, I lived just north of Seattle at the time (the address on the return box was addressed for Seattle), so it's not like it was far away. I did have a PS3 break on me, as well. Called them up, received a box to send it away in the next day, and had a NEW system waiting for me at home five days later! You tell me who the customer satisfaction centered company is.

Xbox for shooters and playstation for pretty games. This is how i see it. But i always end up with both. Oh and wii for smash bros. Only

4 AntwortenHonestly, I feel that Xbox is just another way for Microsoft to be shitty. The console doesn't appeal to me. Sony had been more sensitive to it's customer base than Microsoft had. None of the Xbox exclusives make me excited, and the controller feels wrong in my hands. If all that makes me a ps fanboy, I'm okay with that. That said, I don't seriously bag out on xboxes.

I just like the PS4 exclusives a lot better. And I see xboxs as being a more family all around entertainment console, but I didn't want Netflix I wanted quality games. The only reason I'd get a 1 is if my raid team moved to 1, but I already got a PS4 so

I have xbone and 360. I play 360. Controller is garbage, home screen/messaging/party system is even worse.

Xbox One would be more than sufficiently powerful if it wasn't trying to do twelve other things while you're gaming. Sure it's cool that you can snap a web browser to the screen while you're gaming, but that isn't free resource wise; an the effect could just as easily be achieved with a phone/tablet/laptop. Sony is just trying to do one thing: game. That being said their UI needs serious improvement and their supplementary functions (messaging/ect) needs improvement, but, for me, all is forgiven when they're able to smoothly play the games I want to play.

1 AntwortenIt was fashionable at the time close to release to bash XBO for it's PR blunders and proclaim PS4 the early console war winner because it made the choice of which console to support simple and easy. Also Bungie siding Destiny with PS4 may have added a little more fuel to that fire, as did Microsoft's initial problems with the XBO's RAM optimization or something or other -- it all spelled out "it's not as good" at the time and a clear & cut winner was what every fanboy was looking for. Again that was all at the time. Now? pfft there's no reason to hate on anything lol It's all the same. Everyone champions 1080p but they don't even know how insignificant that truly is. Side by side 1080p vs 1080i is not a perceivable difference, advantage or disadvantage. Frame rates are very nice at 60fps but games are not made and broken by 60fps. Destiny runs at like 30fps, I don't see anyone say "argh my eyes! The sub 60 frame rate is killing me!" There's no reason to dislike XBO, and definitely not when you don't own one, therefore having no frame of reference to critique it and thus no validity in your argument when comparing it to anything else. That's just fanboys being fanboys, and that's fair too.

Or there ability to stay solvent as a company for the life cycle of there system. Edit: I've been a Sony fan most of my life, I had a amp that lasted me 20 years, thats quality, unfortunately they outsourced all of there production and now your lucky to get 20 months. Also loved the hell out of ps1 and 2. But due to there recent history (last 5 years) they aren't getting a dime from me. Tho I still use my minidisc everyday.
