6 AntwortenIt's the only option. Even if it means dropping everything to backtrack to the last sparrow accessible area to get it. Even if I have 10 minutes left before work, the death of the AFK'er takes priority over the strike completion.
-
I don't waste time, just continue
-
my style is wait, report, pop a squat with my fireteam member right in front of the D-bag. if he doesnt move, we're outta there. have fun waiting for matchmaking bltch!
-
Too much hassle. I rarely run roc strikes so i don't encounter this problem. Have witnessed it first hand maybe 1, 2 times max. That would piss me off dealing with afk'ers on weekly heroics though. I wouldn't bother killing them, i'd leave immediately
-
All day everyday......then report/block em. Tri-fecta
-
No but if a friend is away going to the loo, we will try to push his character off an edge, Bit of a joke among us now, So then we sit against walls!
-
7 AntwortenYeah, too bad people try to splatter you immediately if you're changing your gear at spawn
-
6 AntwortenI just finish the strike, I'm not twelve so I don't have the energy to waste on bothering with what someone else is doing.
-
4 AntwortenAfk? I am always away from keyboard while playing Destiny...
-
thats stupid. shows what this community is.
-
2 Antwortentheres a shocking amount of assholes on this post that just do it for fun. what dicks. my revenge tho is to then just drag on during the strike. ill make the other guys do all the work for killing me
-
4 AntwortenI've never once AFK'd a strike and don't have any friends that have done this either. I still don't understand why you'd hate on those who do? Who cares. More XP and Engrams for you. I actually find 2 manning and soloing Strikes to be more fun.
-
Idgaf about afkers no matter how hard the strike I'll just keep going on my own or wait till a friend gets on
-
9 AntwortenI go afk all the time on Strikes and I really don't care
-
5 AntwortenPeople are too sensitive. Just stand there to change armor or weapon and immediately got melee from other. You play a game, not working here. Relax.
-
1 AntwortenI give em 30 secs, if they dont move, I leave, I hate it and its getting more common.
-
1 AntwortenOne time i pushed an afk guy to a darkness zone, let a dreg kill him, and then revived him. He came back 30 deaths later, finished with a negative k/d in the strike
-
How long does it take for an AFKer to be sent to orbit due to inactivity?
-
2 AntwortenBearbeitet von CandycabNGFL: 5/11/2015 5:53:33 AMI could care less when people afk since I would rather solo strikes anyway. Its not like it effects your loot drop or the strikes really need 3 people to complete them.
-
Afk in a strike no biggie Afk in PvP giving free kills, points away and handicapping the team now I've a problem so I'll report you. No big deal if it's not something you do all the time.

Me and a mate must have seemed to be afk for the first time yesterday. We wanted to do the Venus glimmer farm and instead of launching patrol or vog we accidentally did he nexus strike. It never occurred to us for about 5-10mins that it has match made us! We felt shite and sent the other player a message explaining what had happened and offered to leave. He was cool and just said it's ok but can he come back and help. As a parent if my kid needs me and I'm not with mates who don't mind the afk then I Xbox off or orbit. I less despise the ones who are afk at the start as opposed to the ones that help to the end then blatantly go sit in a corner
-
I report every single one of them for inactivity.
-
No, why would I bother.
-
No I just continue the strike
-
12 AntwortenSometimes I run to take a piss between strikes, and come back to someone having killed my character with a sparrow. For the rest of that strike, my mission is to kill that player with a sparrow as many times as possible before the strike is over, even if it involves running back to an area outside of the darkness where I can respawn my sparrow...

Heck yes lol
