Older vendor weapons should be put on market again
older weapons like dr. nope, the swarm, and lord high fixer should be sold by the vendors again now that we can update them Bump if you agree. WE CAN HAVE BANSHEE SELL RANDOM ROLLS OF THEM FOR 10,000 GLIMMER EVERY FEW HOURS INSTEAD OF USELESS UNCOMMON WEAPONS!!!!!!!!
btw why would someone vote no? please provide objective evidence as to why this proposal will make the game worse or take away from the experience.

1.) Increase customization and player variety
2.) Allow for better analysis of weapon archtypes and balancing via comparison
3.) Extend player play time by giving them more things to work for
4.) Remove the bottleneck by introducing more varied base stats and perks
5.) Allow for more creative styles of play and competition amongst players

1 AntwortenI voted no primarily because the number of weapons would be an unnecessary performance hit for the systems. Adding them to the loot drop table however would be a nice surprise.

Its standard mmorpg lingo. Let the older players hold their trophys of old. Edit: if they made a return, my vault space would get rekt.

4 AntwortenLet's kill 2 birds with one stone here. Introduce legendary packs at Xur. These packs will give you any 3 random legendary items from the old stocks. Make them cost about 20-30 strange coins each. With this, you would have a semi-reliable source for old gear (not as impossibly rare as engrams and packages) as well as a good way to spend all of those strange coins you've been hoarding, making them, and Xur, more valuable. Maybe have there be one pack for weapons and one for armor. Make it to where the armor one only gives items for your class, but it could be from vanguard, crucible or any faction (cuz, you know, faction gear is changing in HoW), as well as from either the base game or the DLC inventories. Some tweaking is required, however this could effectively help with 2 problems.

It's not that I don't want those weapons. I just think that once all the new ones drop we'll be satisfied with them. I barely have room as it is.

I don't think they should be sold, but they should be in the loot table for packages, nightfalls, etc...

I was thinking that once all DLC is out for this game that the vendors should change stock perhaps every month through the different DLC iterations.

1 AntwortenBump for Devs. There seriously needs to be a way to purchase legacy weapons now that they're increasing vault space and enabling 365 upgrades on all Legendary weapons/armor. I'd have kept so many of my vanilla weapons if that were the case.

I believe we are going to see a huge change in vendor guns and perk combinations in HoW. Reforging may sound good, but I don't think they are going to allow the final round spears and felwinters HF+SP to happen with every gun. I'm only looking for to it to have easier access to each element.

9 AntwortenThey should DEFINITELY not sell them again! Right now it is the ONLY way that people who were first round players can separate themselves from everyone else. Xur already sells most of the exotics... When someone is killed by a 365 Shadow Price and ask where the hell you got it only to find out that they can no longer get it...good times....good times.
