Older vendor weapons should be put on market again
older weapons like dr. nope, the swarm, and lord high fixer should be sold by the vendors again now that we can update them Bump if you agree. WE CAN HAVE BANSHEE SELL RANDOM ROLLS OF THEM FOR 10,000 GLIMMER EVERY FEW HOURS INSTEAD OF USELESS UNCOMMON WEAPONS!!!!!!!!
btw why would someone vote no? please provide objective evidence as to why this proposal will make the game worse or take away from the experience.
by popular demand the petition has been expanded to accommodate old weapons AND armor AND class items

Reasons to bring them back include:
1.) Increase customization and player variety
2.) Allow for better analysis of weapon archtypes and balancing via comparison
3.) Extend player play time by giving them more things to work for
4.) Remove the bottleneck by introducing more varied base stats and perks
5.) Allow for more creative styles of play and competition amongst players

Bumping because this is actually a solid idea. With the addition of ascension, this would really enhance the game for reasons already listed above. I'd love I see this implemented because there were some good guns pre-DLC, but most of the newer players will never see them which is stupid. The fact they can now be upgraded to 365 basically provides maximum incentive to re-add the older guns to vendors because now they'll actually be of real use to players.

Yeah. Don't see why the faction vendors can't have a rotating stock. Especially now that we can reroll them. The perks when you buy them are meaningless

They should at least be in the pool for engram decoding. There are still rare items that we get with stats from pre dlc so why not add the legendaries back into the mix.

2 AntwortenRealistically speaking. Seeing as we can't re-roll any pre-HoW weapons, I'd like to see them all gun drops (NFs & engrams) be them with random rolls assigned and us only be able to obtain HoW weapons from purchasing. The rolls on vendors are typically pretty poor but the random rolls make them what they are. Purchased pre-HoW weapons with the rolls that were sold would become obsolete very fast.

3 AntwortenI voted no simply because I want to see them continue to offer new and exciting variations to further flesh out weapon selection. Flashback specials could be a good gimmick, but I don't want to see them regularly offering the older weapons. Of you got it, keep it, and cherish it. Again, a 'blast from the past' sale would generate excitement around Gunsmith, Quartermaster, or Vanguard every so often, but not regularly please!

I'd like old armors to be brought back as well to vendors. I missed out on the hunter cloaks since I only had a warlock and titan before dark below.

1 AntwortenI voted no primarily because the number of weapons would be an unnecessary performance hit for the systems. Adding them to the loot drop table however would be a nice surprise.
