I DON'T CARE HOW YOU GOT YOUR THUNDERLORD SO STOP REPLYING
I came in first on a losing team (we still lost) and I got Thunderlord for being the only one positive.

Run and hide all you earners, you mustn't taint your virgin Thunderlords by coming in contact with the Xûrners!!!1!1!1!
EDIT 2: Petition to rename Thunderlord. All of the earners get Thund[b]earn[/b]lord and all of those "people" (Xûrners) get Thund[b]xur[/b]lord

1st hard VOG run and I was gifted a Vex Mythoclast. Went to the Cosmodrome to try it out and the 1st bullet from that spanking new Vex of mine took out a dreg, over on the left of spawn near the hive bunker. He popped a legendary heavy engram which Rahool turned into Thunderlord! I'll never forget that moment! Gifted 2 exotics in such an awesome way!!

I ran all 3 characters thru weekly and nightfall for a total of 38 strange coin. And upgraded icebreaker. Lol. EARNED it.

Look, if anybody has "earned" a thunderlord, in a loose sense of the meaning, I feel I have. Deathsinger on Crota during my 11th flawless raider, helping out itzawesomecreeper to get his first. We had one other who I already helped get a flawless raider. I switched to my other titan to run it through to get a better roll on a chestpiece and other gear (ended up getting increased hand cannon/shotgun ammo, and a 163 int roll on my chest piece) and I got the thunderlord unexpectedly as a drop. I say "earned" because for a high majority of people, to get to those exotic dropping points, you have to do work for the chance at a drop. I don't degrade others who but exotics, because quite frankly, those who bought it, have it and make my life a whole hell of a lot easier in raids and other activities.

I stood on a ledge and fired rockets when I was told to after joining at the Crota check point. Glad I earned it. I could have had to do the weekly on level 30 at least 2 times and then some Crucible and ROC strikes till I had enough coins. But that is not earning anything right??

It was a frosty morning. I was out on the trap lines after having been in the bush for nearly two weeks. My clothes were tattered, my skin bronzed and weather worn from the dry, harsh sub arctic winds. I stumbled into the entrance of my yurt, body aching but warmed by the anticipation of xur-day. I knew this bastard had it out for me but I felt a shift in the winds. I knew I wouldn't be denied this time. I turned on the game and bought it. The end.

I bought 2 this morning with strange coins I EARNED. My first Thunderlord I got by luck from an engram that dropped when I was patrolling the Cosmodrome : )

I've gotten four of them so far. Who the hell remembers? None of the ways of acquiring gear in this game are memorable, short of the exotic bounty weapons. Whether someone gets it from xur or from the nightfall or from the crucible, it doesn't matter. What matters are the memories you make with the weapon.

Is it really earning if all drops are random? Its the luck of the draw, people that lose and arent positive can still get that gun. Did they earn it? Na you were a lucky cuuunnnt.
