How exactly do you "earn" something in a RNG game? Was I lucky & got more than I could use in drops? Yes. By your "earned" logic the person that purchases any exotic from Xur has earned the strange coins they used. If Bungie ever introduces micro transactions then you can start crying about who earned what.

I had 4 drop before he sold it and dismantled 2. It was luck, not earned. Grinding weeklies for coins now that's earning.
