Smoking weed vs smoking cigarettes

1 AntwortenI smoked cigs for 9 years and weed for 6 years, everyday without fail, even on Christmas I quit weed about 2 years ago, stopped smoking cigs 9 months ago and I'll say this Cigarettes are a vile destructive habit. You effectively pay to slowly kill yourself and decay your body. It's a shame that so many people do it, it's a shame so many quit then go back to it later I feel much better since quitting smoking. I look healthier, I put on weight, I eat more and better food, I feel motivated to do other things now too. The only downside I have ATM is lack of energy. A nicotine boost helped but eventually I will find a substitute....like sleeping longer Weed is no different apart from its less likely to kill you, but you can still die from stupid decisions made while under the influence. I wouldn't say weed in itself is all that bad, it can be a much more expensive habit, but if I had to choose if defo smoke weed I still think weed can give people with underlying lung issues more problems, I've had friends that insist it "clears your lungs" while simultaneously having coughing fits and coughing up phlegm, yuk. Weed is a clear winner though, as long as you don't get dependant on it

During college cigs and coffee got me through my mornings and nights. If i really wanted to smack someone I'd smoke a cigarette. Weed was usually a weekend thing with a group of friends siting in a circle, passing it around while just talking. I'm more of a social smoker, If you offer I'll probably say sure.

I smoke both. I regret smoking cigarettes. They are pointless and overpriced. All they do is make you not want a cigarette for a few minutes. I enjoy smoking weed. You get something from it, like alcohol.

I wouldn't consider them the same at all. They release different chemicals in your body and affect you totally differently.

Obviously not smoking anything is the healthiest option, but 99 out of a 100 times weed is healthier than cigarettes. Cigarettes are more addictive, cause more diseases, and have a greater negative effect on the air breathed by society around them - second hand smoke. I honestly have no idea why it's still illegal in North America (except for shady profits of course). Most of Europe has legalized marajua (I believe) and there is less crime

Weed at least has medical use when used the way it should be instead of cigarettes which just poison your lungs. I personally don't mind weed and smoke it myself recreationally. I have no medical use for it I just do and it can be just as harsh on your lungs as cigarettes.

I agree the biggest reason why cigarettes are so unhealthy is because of all the dangerous chemicals they put in them just like our highly processed foods
