Raid exotics a setup?
Is it just me or do they make the Raid exotics to rock the next big dlc? The vex does solar, rocks wizards and mobs, then we get tdb. Now we get the necro which does arc, and we get HoW where there will be plenty of arc shields.conspiracy? I doubt it...

1 AntwortenI though the same thing with some normal raid weapons. Fatebringer seems like it was designed for the abyss, and black hammer seems like it was designed for atheon. This might mean that one of the crota weapons will be amazing in the next raid, and that raid will have a good weapon for crota

3 AntwortenWhy use Nechrochasm when there are several other weapons (fatebringer, thunderlord, fang, verdict, 4th horseman etc) that way outnumber the power of it. Theory... Busted.

1 AntwortenI had this thought about the Vex before. I'd like to think the Necro will be good in the next raid, but the Fallen don't horde/clump as much as the Hive, making the Thrall explosion perk, somehow, even worse. But I'd be fine with being proven wrong!

We've known this since the beginning. But considering that the weapons have perks to make them beneficial in the current raid they drop in, the elemental is most likely meant to extend their life past the current raid. Not a conspiracy, just fair design.
