We asked for upgrades to older weapons...We got that.
We asked to make gunsmith relevant....We got that.
We asked for more armour option....We got that.
We asked for armour diversity......We got that.
We asked for old raid to made relevant again.....We got that.
We asked for more end game activity.....We got that.
We asked for ways to exchange mats...We got that.
People still complain.
"Whaaa, this should have been in from the start"
It wasn't, get a grip, man up and stop bloody complaining.
Thanks Bungie, you've listened and I appreciate the effort.
So now I've watched the video I'm even more excited.
And to highlight. It's all free.....yes I know you think it should have been in originally, well it wasn't. Get over it and move on.
Once we see the prison of elders, the trials of Osiris....It's gonna be even better.
They are developing the game, be positive.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Seven: 4/23/2015 2:31:32 PM....um? It should have been that way from the start. Sure we get MMO systems launch with a layer of pizza grease and disjointed fan assumptions, Destiny on the other hand launched as piece that didn't even scratch the surface of the initial concept Bungie had been working on and thereafter advertising. It's great things are getting better now. The idea however that I shouldn't believe these items should have shipped at launch is wrong; that's moronic, are you an idiot OP? Sorry I have a standard for a company with a long standing reputation.
I have a pretty addictive personality. I wish I was addicted to the HoW content at launch and not the shitshow I partook in loyally. I paid for all this upfront, in good trust that destiny would deliver. It's looking like the game will take at least a solid year to turn out as a game that actually feels like a resolved game made by a hugely successful company. This crap we got at launch, no I was not happy about it, yet I was optimistic for the improvement of the universe, I'm really glad to see steps regarding those aspects being delivered on
Thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU. We got exactly what we asked for! Who cares if we don't have a new raid when they fix the old ones and made them worth doing again? I get to wear whatever armor I please. This means there's as many end game sets of armor as you please. Don't even get me started on being able to save my Legendary favorites. Longbow Synthesis, you will not be missed, because you'll be in my hands in the Prison of Elders.

Bearbeitet von Imperitor: 4/23/2015 2:18:45 PMGreat post overall, Just one thing you said "We asked for more end game activity.....We got that." But arguably we got less because, sure we have the arena, that may be fun, but i doubt it will be as good as a new raid would have been

I agree, man. I'm so tired of the whiners on this forum. They're so self-entitled, thinking they should have had everything possible available to them on Day One, not realizing that massive online games take time to develop. It's the equivalent of if someone was to say "Waaah, WoW has had ~10 Expansoinsssss! It should have been available in 2002! Waaaaahhh"

Yep. Bungie really redeemed themselves with this DLC. I was already committed to Destiny for life but its cool to see so much positive reaction to this. Some people are always gonna hate, not much you can do about that. But overall, this update seems to be getting a majority positive reaction from people.

the best thing about it is that when they do release a destiny 2, all these teething issues with what people want SHOULD be ironed out. With the release of HoW it looks its the game everyone wanted, strikes, raids, horde modes, trials\IB for PvPers more vendors to level up and gear to get.. Everyone can look different, use different weapons with the reforging and have multiple choices of shaders.. Awesome work bungie.. and its been a while since i could genuinely say that.

Well said they are doing a whole lot for one DLC. Yes there is more that they can do. I for one would like to see the directional controls used for cycling weapons while in game but hopefully that will come in time. I for one am very happy with what they are putting forth with HOW.
