So all vendors sell 36 light....
Is anyone mad about this?
Edit 1: wow lots of feedback, I agree with most and am happy about this but it's just kinda silly they did the same thing with TDB so all the VoG try hards were pissed. I guess it's not as bad since Crotas End was so easy and cheesy LAWL

Some are, but those people are also mad that new players don't have to spend weeks in VoG to just hit 30. In other words, they're out of touch.

I am honestly a little surprised but as long as there are superior perks on the raid gear or maybe better discipline etc then it's all good

This is marvelous! All level did for anyone was gate them out of content which is always a bad idea. This is penned from the hands of a Hard Core raider. Now my friends that don't play as much as I do can join me in raids without the fear of the content dragging them down. This is great!

Not really I mean they did say a small percentage of people complete the raids. Apparently destiny fan base is in pvp how that is I do not know at launch all I played was control then got tired of it. Began to run strikes and raids and that's what brought me back every week. I do miss my first set of vanguard gear that had light lvl of 27. The raids will still be raids no matter what getting a group together and having fun completing them.

2 AntwortenThese post are pure ego "look at me I'm a higher level than you so I'm better bow to me" people being at the top level is only beneficial to you in PVE, they are slightly less likely to die because they have a higher defense rating and can only help more.

You have to get the coins to get light cap. It's not like you go out, buy vendor gear, level it, and 34 that day.

No way I'm stoked! We can all have individuality in this game finally! I'm glad they've decided to do this. There will actually be way different perks on each piece of armor you choose to wear and it won't all be the same crap on everyone. Which means..VoG + CE gear + vendor gear will be great in the Prison of Elders cause it'll (apparently) be different each week. I can't waiiiit

The problem with 31 vendor gear was that it -outclassed- Raid gear. Having it on par is fine.

Not really. Your CE and VoG gear will allow you to get to light level 34. The problem last time was that the DLC vendor gear invalidated the VoG gear; this is not the case with HoW.

Doesn't bother me. A new player will still have to grind for a few weeks to get the marks needed for a full set and the materials to upgrade

1 AntwortenVendor gear will be lvl 32 which is 36 light. But you can upgrade/ascend it to lvl 34 (42 light) using etheric light which is dropped from playing prison of elders, trials of Osiris, nightfall and iron banner.
