Is anyone mad about this?
Edit 1: wow lots of feedback, I agree with most and am happy about this but it's just kinda silly they did the same thing with TDB so all the VoG try hards were pissed. I guess it's not as bad since Crotas End was so easy and cheesy LAWL

Nope. Pretty happy about this. Now my titan can be a fashion queen and cease being a clone trooper. Besides, raids will be a necessity in order to get materials......... no, not really. Raids are just for fun now.

97 AntwortenPeople need to face the fact that progression in Destiny is no longer raid dependent, and it's about to open up to more types of players and more different content. Butthurt raiders need to get over it and accept the fact that a small percentage of players raid, so Bungie is opening up the lines of progression for players of all types and reducing the dependence on raiding. Gone are the days that the raid is at the top of the food chain and everything else is irrelevant. Raids are merely a side quest now for players who choose to level up that way. Players who don't want to raid can level up how they see fit, and that includes vendor gear, IB gear, Trials gear, Prison of Elders gear, faction gear, whatever. Destiny is going to be an open world game finally, not a linear one that requires players to funnel into one game type and come out the end all looking the same. Brilliant, BRILLIANT move by Bungie, that will help the long term future of the game.

1 AntwortenIts easy to get the CE gear unlike vog

Not at all.

36 light is only level 32... so no?
-
2 AntwortenI don't like it only because I feel like top tier equipment should come from a top tier activity. PoE for PvE and ToO for PvP players. An avenue for each player type. Knowing that I can just screw around and hit max level takes some of the fun out of it for me. When everyone is special no one is. To me it's part of the everyone gets a trophy mentality. It should be earned somehow.

You'll only be able to upgrade to 33-34 by getting the new material, which is only available from the high end pvp/pve events at end game, so I don't see what the big deal is.

Who cares it's annoying trying to get the gear in the first place and it's not going to be free is it

-
And the issue is?...
-
3 AntwortenNot really, it's a game and I don't know any of you.
-
I think its fine. I'm happy its not more light lvl than our current raid gear. I'm really happy that we can finally have any legendary gear be max light level. So sick of everyone wearing the exact same armor.

No , what the -blam!- is there to be mad about ?
-
1 AntwortenIt would actually be 42 light gear to be 34

This is how it should have been all along. Forcing a gameplay bottleneck in order to make everyone look alike is lame. Multiple ways to level your guardian is the best way. It allows the player to create their customization. Not a raid.
-
5 AntwortenSo what's the Max light level now? Is it simple staying at 32 with vendor gear able to reach it as well.......or will prison of elders/trials take you to level 34.
-
1 AntwortenNot mad at all. Tired of looking like a crota clone. Glad to finally have cap gear of my choosing.
-
Mad? 32 light will be the same as 30 light when dark below dropped. Why are you mad?
-
Why would I be mad? I'm already a 32 on all three characters. My happiness is not dependant on being a snowflake. While all the people who didn't raid will be buying gear to catch up, I will already be running POE and other activities. My gear is still valid, as the vendor gear only matches it. I have nothing to be mad about.

34 light isnt it

Bearbeitet von kaleb730: 4/23/2015 11:26:37 PMNo. 36 light gear just gets you to 32. Gettin to 32 off Crota gear was easy as hell anyway.
