EDIT2: Alright, very common consensus agrees. It's more than likely a Relic type item (a very fresh spin on it I might add). Can't wait to see how it works. That things' got some Dakka written on it, can't wait to see what the Super can do. Also added some profanity-safe bits.
EDIT3: New theory saying Exotic Heavy Special/Primary... Not too sure I'm inclined to believe this one. That said back to the theory of 2TIDE many are noticing it may be a portion of the Walker's main cannon.
EDIT4: Not a Titan Super sadly, the Hunter behind him's toting one too. I suspect third Subclasses sometime around Comet/following expansions.
EDIT5: I've seen multiple lads/ladies mention when Deej stopped shy of the last weapon on the Monarchy's screen: http://i.imgur.com/MGx9P6B.jpg, not to pop the balloons that's just the updated Admonisher icon. Datto can't get it right everytime. Also, in regards to the location being Winter's Lair I'd say the Sword of Crota mission comes to mind in regards to testing and playing with Relics before they're gamechangers.

It's gonna end up being a laser/plasma cannon that needs to charge like a fusion rifle. It is probably specific to the strike and maybe show up in Prison of Elders during a "boss" or mini "boss" fight. You probably rip it off a Vandarchon and get to use it against tanks, massive servitors (and massive shanks =]), new Fallen enemy type etc. Seeing as there are 2 in artwork and only 1 on the Vandarchon, I'd assume there's more than one of the Vandarchon. Silly theory, but isn't one of the missions Vex related, where Skolas goes to the Citadel? What if it's a modified Minotaur laser blaster paired with Fallen tech in the place of the missing arm?

ok so, the blades of crota vanished, so maybe when you kill an enemy in replacment of the boc you get it as a weapon.

You have to get a certain amount of kills in the arena before it becomes available for you to use in the arena(pick it up similar to the relic) only holds 12 shots It will be a fusion rifle with the effect of a rocket launcher(Vex Mythoclast is fusion rifle w/ effect of auto rifle)

5 AntwortenI kinda hope its not a relic, that would likely mean that prison of elders will be like a "raid lite" for three players. I'd rather something truly new than a dumbed down mini raid.
