Breaking the game due to scaling armor
So for House of Wolves you dont need to even get the best armor to be level 34. You can use your VoG armor to hit level 34. To me thats breaking the game. Isn't the point of a new expansion to earn better gear?? I've played many mmo like games and mmo's and thats the whole point. They are dumbing down the game way to much by doing this.. Theres no point in probably doing the prison of elders if they are doing this.. Good job..

Why are you assuming that 34 is the light cap? What if it's 36 through Arena only. Take a seat and wait.

And what if you need to do PoE/ToO in order to upgrade old gear? I don't see that as any different than having to get new armor other than the fact that you don't have to re level it up from the beginning.

What if they add in harder difficulties for the raids to compensate the use of said gear?

What if what you need to upgrade can only be found in the Prison of Elders? Nothing is revealed yet.

I will still do Prison Of Elders and use its gear.

I'm guessing each set of gear is going to be situational. 34 VoG would be best for VoG. 34 CE best for CE. I'm sure the new perks for Osiris and the Arena gear would be best for those events. Hopefully armor will be more situational like weapons. Better variety.

We still have to upgrade the armor. I doubt it will be instant. Guess we will see at 2:00 p.m. Lol

We don't even know how you upgrade it , it might take longer to upgrade old gear than to run the prison of elders for new gear. Just relax until they release details

You might have to complete things like the prison of elders in order to upgrade your gear. How about we wait till the stream to find out though.

We don't even know if 34 is the max level. Maybe only raid gear can be leveled up to a certain point and not all gear.

Raid gear has raid perks that alone will get people to get it and use it. I'll have crota gear and cog gear at 34 if your not using gear that helps you in the raid your dumb

Kid you have no idea what's coming, or how it will be sequentially in the future. Besides, 34 VOG armor < 34 CE armor... At lest the CE gear has specific perks. VOG isn't going to be much different from IB gear or vendor gear now... and that's an incomplete assumption based on very few facts known to date! Seriously, let's learn more before we jumpy to conclusions.

2 AntwortenThey'll still have new gear scrub. If they do their job the new gear will be sought after as well. So istead of removing content we get to keep it and build upon it.

2 AntwortenI'm sure you will need to use an item obtained from the PoE to upgrade to 34. We don't know for sure but I can't see it being done any differently. You aren't just going to be able to pop the game in the day the dlc drops and just become a 34
