Why hasn't Xur ever sold Thunderlord?
I see lots of people asking for Xur to bring Gjallarhorn, but the fact is Thunderlord has never been sold. What makes this Machine Gun so special? I've watched the reviews and it's one of two exotics I haven't acquired, but I'm not sure why it's so special that it's never been offered by Xur. I use Against all Odds and couldn't imagine a better machine gun.
Does anyone have both Thunderlord and Against all Odds? Please, let me know which one you prefer!
Edit: Sounds like a fun weapon. If it's as OP as many describe it'll be nice if one dropped before PoE releases. See you starside Guardians!
Edit: Well, looks like Xur is going to gain a customer today after hearing all the positive reviews from the community. Just so we're clear; this post was originally posted 3 weeks ago.
Edit: Maxxed out my Thunderlord in 2 days and I'm not very impressed. I'd rather keep my AaO equiped for a better exotic option.

Have both and use thunderlord more in pve. Against all odds for Pvp. Xur may not sell it because the complaints about not having one are minimal. After HoW this may change. Love this gun on captains.

I use a Jolders Hammer when I use HMGs. It's easily the best for PvP. But in PvE...I've seen what a Thunderlord can do. It can take entire hordes of Thrall or a chunk of Atheon's health in a matter of seconds. My Hammer could never hope to compete.

2 AntwortenI have both with field Scout... I love against odds and it is the one i use when using primary or special exotic... But thunderlord is in a different league... When you have it, try it, you'll see what i mean... I don't do atheon without it xD

I prefer Jolders hammer. I don't really understand what's so "exotic" about thunder lord.

Deviant Gravity is even better than against all odds. But yes thunderlord is the be all end all of heavy machine guns

3 AntwortenThunder lord is just a perfect combo of great impact range and stability is just devastating. I got a jolder's hammer with more impact and it's not even like it cuz more damage but less range and doesn't feel special. Also thunderlord has a rolling thunder hidden perk which triggers arcfly sometimes,causing enemies to explode with arc. This thing is beastly DPS machine gun,if xur happens to sell it buy 3. Throw your against all odds off the tower

I have a maxed against all odds and a 1/2 leveled thunderlord, and they are both amazing.

He will eventually. Shit he sold everything else. U coulda went the whole game with 0 exotic drops and have every exotic if u bought from xur.

Don't have the Thunderlord, can't wait to get it, but I think Swarm has been so underrated. It has a larger mag and more stability to land shots than AAO. Just my opinion.
