Why hasn't Xur ever sold Thunderlord?
I see lots of people asking for Xur to bring Gjallarhorn, but the fact is Thunderlord has never been sold. What makes this Machine Gun so special? I've watched the reviews and it's one of two exotics I haven't acquired, but I'm not sure why it's so special that it's never been offered by Xur. I use Against all Odds and couldn't imagine a better machine gun.
Does anyone have both Thunderlord and Against all Odds? Please, let me know which one you prefer!
Edit: Sounds like a fun weapon. If it's as OP as many describe it'll be nice if one dropped before PoE releases. See you starside Guardians!
Edit: Well, looks like Xur is going to gain a customer today after hearing all the positive reviews from the community. Just so we're clear; this post was originally posted 3 weeks ago.
Edit: Maxxed out my Thunderlord in 2 days and I'm not very impressed. I'd rather keep my AaO equiped for a better exotic option.

Thunderlord is MUCH better. You just have to use it to see for yourself. And when the lightning rounds kick in... Thunderlord is to machine guns as Gjallarhorn is to launchers. There are others that are great, (ex:truth, HoC), but it is just better overall and much more overpowering

Thunderlord shoots fast with high damage, against all odds has slightly higher damage but shoots slower. I've tested both, and think thunderlord is better

2 AntwortenThunderlord has a hidden firefly perk nice for groups of mobs, and it's perk can down the health of a boss on an arc nightfall very fast. But most people like it simply because it has nice stats. It's quite similar to the Deviant Gravity. I prefer it for PvE, the stability over range is nice. AAO is unparalleled in pvp though, except Jolder's Hammer, which is essentially the same thing.

I have both. thunderlord owns. if you click the trigger to shoot, it's like a sniper and easy to get headshots.
