A simple way to make golden gun more viable in PVE
Allow it to be charged up (think Kid Death's death cannon from Soul Eater).
Basically, give golden gun two different fire modes, the normal single shot mode, and a charge up mode that does a much higher amount of damage. Once the charged shot has been expended, the golden gun super goes back into cool down.
In my mind, this charge shot would be able to take out a shielded major in one shot. If implemented, we would see a higher use for hunters in PVE.
In an attempt to kill two birds with one stone, perhaps this ability could be tied to the exotic hunter helmet ATS/8 Arachnid. If tied to the Arachnid helmet, we would now have a useful helmet that is currently useless.

1 AntwortenRunning the xyor strike the other day and made me realize how useless both the hunters supers are trying to kill higher level or shielded enemies. It's a super it should kill something high level.

1 AntwortenStellar idea. My hunter is my main and I run gunslinger so I would love the charged shot. That would make it so much more useful for example on the stairs in the Undying Mind strike.

Give it a precision multiplier, that way the whole ability won't have to be altered.
