26 AntwortenBearbeitet von George Suros : 4/14/2015 3:07:59 PMYes, good. Alienate this little cliquey, superiority complex "fanbase" and finally it might be a playable game where better types of fans will come and play! Yay! The facts were real. Less than 20% of accounts even beat a normal raid. Changes were needed! Look, nobody even played Crota without cheese until they fixed the glitch and then we still always cheese it. They need to rethink raids in the game and rethink social functions really bad. I'm honestly glad there's no raid because it wasn't that much fun. Nobody even liked the raids bungie made and cheesed Templar and atheon back then too!

2 AntwortenThis isn't feedback. This is more for the community forum. We have to stop mixing our opinions in with others who actually post important and serious feedback guardians. There are different topic list for a reason. Also to comment on this matter, The raid will come when it's complete. Don't be alarmed guardians you will all be taken care of. Let's just rejoice we have new modes to actually play.

2 AntwortenThe majority of players still playing this game are most of the 20% that have raided, and have legendaries and exotics. I'm sure there are some who only do bounties and weeklies and nightfalls, but they would be the minority. Bungie makes themselves look stupid again by saying oh, were unimpressed by the raid numbers, but it's a console game and there's no matchmaking or LFG system for the raids, which is the real reason people have left, or simply refuse to do it. Bungie also makes the selfish move of making the "raid" in HOW this arena/hoard mode, which only requires 3 players, so they can implement matchmaking with it (such as the weekly heroic recently) and then they can toss out way better numbers than the 6-man raid with no matchmaking/LFG would've got them. "Look, Activision, our numbers are better! Yaaayyyy" Not only that, but a lot of you dummies are saying omgz GUIZ a raid is still cummin---no, read it again, it says "no raid in HOW" and will be released in a future release--the future release of the next 6 man raid is comet/plague of darkness, which you will pay another 40-60 dollars for.

5 AntwortenI too am disappointed in the raid delay, I'm not doing the Vanguard gear grind again. But we need to get Bungie to define the "later in the year" to a definite timeframe. In the mean time I am looking forward to the 3 player coop horde mode. I have been wanting this for a while as most activities are either too easy and the challenging events can only be done once a week. That does not leave much else to do as I scaled back to playing one or two days a week.
-
10 AntwortenDoubt it. Been playing since day 1 and still come back for more each day. The new updates are good, subtle, yet still make a difference.
-
5 AntwortenI don't think they are alienating their players i think they are taking proper if inconvenient measures to ensure the quality of future content and prevent the problems and back lash that they recieved with issues that were seen in crta's end and Vault of Glass.
-
24 AntwortenIt's not alienating me. While I enjoy the raid concept I hate having to be in groups of 6. I more so put up with it. Just have to wait and see if arena is fun.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von ALIAS-F4LS: 4/15/2015 3:15:57 PMWhile I agree that raids are the backbone of PvE and players should have been informed on this a bit earlier, the fact that they are adding a new PvP type and the prison of elders does prove their attempts to not be repetitive. Also the raid is supposed to be released at a later time so what I believe is that the raid might have been proved to be a bit more in the works than as planned. Its either release it with the house of wolves and get backlash for it being full of glitches and overlooked cheeses or delay and need to make it perfect to justify the delay. The way I see it this is the chance for bungie to either expand on the world and prove to players that with expansions like these destiny will be a interesting experience with each DLC or that they should make another game and hope it works out better.

1 AntwortenI applaud your use of you're and your.
-
1 AntwortenRaid, idgaf about. Hoping that 3 man co op is the shit. We'll see.
-
10 AntwortenBungie sucks at raid design, raiders are a minority and the majority of players have been asking for horde mode. If they give us transmogs and a good story I will say they truly listen.
-
4 AntwortenSo upset that there isn't a new raid. The raids are why I play this game
-
2 AntwortenThey actually did a lot with this new update/patch. I was surprised after reading through it all. Looking forward to seeing how it all works out and getting my HoW DLC. Cause well, I already paid for it. Besides, Destiny is a work in progress and they are listening to us. It just take a long time to get the things we want, done!

The evidence is clear for everyone to see, and the cat has been totally let out the bag, love the game or hate it...anyone who is staying around for the next DLC will be very wary before purchasing. Many of us all committed to buying the expansion on a hollow promise, Bungie and Activision are now distrusted by the majority of their player base who won't make the same mistake in the future in purchasing further content without hard evidence of what they will be getting for their money...this could be a blessing in disguise...but it could also be too late.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von Hermy: 4/14/2015 11:15:57 PMLook at the data. The majority of players are casual, and just like a fun game with excellent mechanics. Raids are fun for a dedicated fan base, and in this case it is less then 20% of the total population.
-
19 AntwortenDidn't they say something like only 15% or so people have completed a raid? Hm. Seems to me like they're trying to cater to the majority...
-
1 AntwortenImo, they are catering to a very specific one.

I'm sorry you don't like new things

8 AntwortenAs someone who was burnt out and stopped playing for a few weeks after Bloodborne released, I'm actually excited about all this recent destiny news. Change has the potential to be really good. We just don't know how it's going to play out yet. Gotta wait for more information before we cast our judgements. Started playing crucible again after my little Bloodborne break and it's been fun. Gotta get my skills ready for the Trials!

10 AntwortenI really liked this game from the beginning. Played it non stop. All characters, weapons everything is fully maxed. The VOG was a good time. It took our group a lot of time to figure out how to beat it. Then Crota came out full of holes and glitches and they left it up to us to find the mistakes so the could fix it. Let alone the couple missions we got along with it were not that great either. I was able to finish them within a couple days. About the end of January I started to get bored with the repetitiveness of the game and when Battlefield Hardline came out I saw my opportunity to take a break and come back for the next DLC. I haven't touched the game since then and to come and read the news on this is very disappointing. I'm a PvE guy, I hate the PvP on Destiny, I could careless about the crucible and this news doesn't make me want to go back to Destiny any time soon. Since I paid for it I will give it a shot but I will not buy anything made from Bungie after this.
-
3 AntwortenThere is a raid, just not yet. Maybe they realized releasing another terd like TDB would be a death sentence so they took a step back to work more on it. Personally, I'm excited to see what they have in store with the Prison of Elders BUT I am a critic of Bungie so I'm taking a wait and see approach.

10 AntwortenWhen MMOs stop making new content, they die. Watch your friends list dwindle as everyone moves on to other games. This is a sign that bungie has not learned from their mistakes, but instead double down on poor decisions. The perception, right or wrong, held by the gaming community, is that Bungie would rather tell players how they should be playing the game instead of making new content. When serious talent leaves a company, as we've seen with the recent high profile departures, starting with Joe Staten, original New York Times bestselling author and lead writer, you know something is wrong. The top performers leave because they don't want to be part of a bad plan, i.e., Activision cranking out many crappy games to maximize profit. To performers gravitate to companies that value their talent. A boss would fire an employee of they said "That report (the HoW raid) you asked for isn't ready. I won't tell you why. I won't tell you when you'll get it. I won't even tell you what I'm giving you instead, but it will be soon, just wait. K THX BYE LOL" Yet that is exactly what Bungie has done. I'm done. I've stuck it out since launch, but the writing on the wall is clear. The game is dying, and Bungie will not correct it, judging by past decisions. The most effective feedback? Vote with your wallet.

I agree! 4 crucible maps, really! What is it like 16% of people play the crucible?
-
3 AntwortenRepetetive would be adding a raid, get over yourself.
