Rocket Launcher or Machine Gun?
Which heavy weapon do you prefer?
I prefer machine guns myself. I feel that I can get more bang for my buck out of heavy ammo drops, as I get between 40 - 150 rounds of ammo instead of 1-3 rockets.
Plus I can be more efficient with that ammo as firing it results in instantaneous damage to the target (making it harder to miss), and it takes a smaller percentage of ammo to bring down most enemies.
[spoiler]Additionally, I like to play close quarters as a Defender Titan. Missiles don't really favor the close quarters fighter, and I have found that rocket launchers mix with the Ward of Dawn about as well as guns mix with alcohol.[/spoiler]
But how about you? Do you tend to favor rocket launchers or machine guns?
Which do you prefer to use, and why?

Situational. Sometimes, rockets fire and forget > stand and take fire while shooting hmg. Sometimes, hmg more efficient fire > greater damage against more targets than rockets (which depend on enemies clustering).

Rocket Launcher because it has less ammo, I don't wanna win because I don't run out of HMG ammo.

For patrols or ROC strikes, machine guns are more fun to use. No point wasting rockets on lower level enemies IMO. Both have ups and downs, I'm sure each person adapts weapons differently.
