I just reached level 32 but people keep telling me I'm a "fake" one I just don't get it, is it because I have iron banner gear?
It does not bother me that people call me that , what bothers me is that I get kicked from hard mode

Probably because most people would assume you've never raided before since you only have gauntlets showing you maybe only did the first part.

Bullying aspires from jealousy, you're not fake, they are. :)

They're the fake ones - Just stick to your guns.
-
Your not a fake people are just mean dont pay attention to them

And btw, most 32 pulled out there Lan cable for Crota to get there last bit of gear lol
-
Some people think if you have raid gear then you have experience, but this is not always true. It's so easy to cheese everything and get the gear. My opinion is if you get kicked from doing this broken cheesy wannabe VOG worthy raid. It's probably because those players cannot hold their own during the raid and like to blame others. If you are on Xbox One and do not have the friends online to raid with HMU. My GT is Adanite.

Before The Dark Below people called themselves "True 30's" because they had all vault gear. I was stuck as a 29 because I coudent get the helmet to drop for my Hunter lol
-
I understand if you need to get to lvl 32 but iron banner gear shows that you don't raid I will take a lvl 31 w vendor gear w more raid completions than a lvl 32 w iron banner gear
-
Iron Banner gear is actually harder to get BUT it sometimes mean you don't have raid experience that why Im assuming people are kicking you If you want people to know you have done the raid before maybe wear a piece or two so they see it Then change it All it is is just advice

I wish I could be a fake 32...not enough Patience and Time. I'm going the really fake route and buying vanguard gear when HoW comes out then I can be fake/scrub 33.

You aren't. 1. Raid gear is easier to get. I had full Raid gear and a few doubles in the first 3 weeks. IB gear is harder to get~ A. It doesn't reset weekly, its monthly. B. It takes a Hell of a lot more time & effort getting the level required to get it & even more time to get the cash. 2. Even after the monthly event gets here, you only have 2 out of 4 to choose from & NO guarantees it'll be what you need. *The da|||n helmet has never been available as of yet. 3. It's jealousy that causes this problem. People go after Crota & hold their breath waiting to get that piece of gear they need. When someone looks at the IB inventory & methodically choose to grind for it, it seems as though people mistake they fact that since you know what it will be, it doesn't count. It does. The fact is, in order to get a piece of gear: Raid/IB, you have to A. Spend YOUR TIME choosing the mission/waiting through a load screen/starting the mission/killing sh*t/avoid getting killed/persevering until you accomplish your needs/getting the gear/equipping that sh*t/being happy about it. B. That's all. So... If you payed for the game, you have entered into its world in which one of the necessities to stay relevant in combat efficiency is to acquire gear/weapons. The dev's have given several methods in which to achieve these goals (as to diversify gameplay & not simplify it). Therefore, any & all methods available to get gear/weapons are viable, acceptable & in some cases, necessary. It DOES NOT MATTER HOW you get your gear, only that you GET IT & EVOLVE your TACTICS, METHODS, CAPABILITIES & INSTINCTS. Not to mention the relationship you develop helping Noobs as they fall from the sky (so to speak). It's all about "Building your Legend", that's what they've sold us, these are the methods they put in place for us to do so, it's up to you to manage that scenario the best way according to your time & ability. If Bungie made this game with the primary notion all guardians are fighting these alien threats & the Crucible is a place we go to hone our skills, where guardians are only resurrected for the purpose of "training", it means we are fighting each other for practice, but we are fighting aliens to "kill" them. So... Why should other players be pissed at your gear? Or even what gun you like or how you got it? They shouldn't. The better sh*t you have, the better you can help alongside everyone else. It's small, petty mentalities that say stupid sh*t about fake/earn/Xur'n sh*t. I say "More power to you." *& by the Power of Grayskull you have the power! Good luck to you bro...

You da real MVP GG

Does your light level say 32 or fake 32? Quit taking other ppl so seriously.

I think its equal

Your not fake just in vender gear but still week

4 AntwortenIts more difficult to get IB gear than it is to get raid gear. Raid fags can just get backpacked through the raid to get free gear. Lets not even talk about how MOST of the community cheeses Crota. You have to grind to get your Iron Banner gear. No random rng drops, no backpacking, etc. Congrats on grinding out your IB gear. Truly EARNING your gear.

1 Antworten32 = 32 When someone says you're a "fake" 32 it means they're a scrub.

32 = 32 in my opinion not a fake

Bearbeitet von oHELLSTRYKEo: 4/4/2015 4:22:51 PMNot a fake!!!! I would think that it's harder to grind for IB gear than running a raid for I don't know how many times. Good for you, if I could have played in the IB last time I would have. Congrats!!!! Besides a fake to me would be going into a weekly or a nightfall with two other people all dressed up in raid gear using fancy raid weapons and you end up carrying them which I find is more so now than when people were getting VoG gear.

Bro. If you're 32 with iron banner gear, then you have put more work in then ppl who are 32 with crota gear. Plain and simple..
-
Pre-update I got to 30 with iron banner boots. Only just got the tread of the hezen lords last week. Iron regalia looks better anyway

10 AntwortenYou are genuine. The immature raid elitists who have the time and enough friends with the time to do raids have developed a super ego of 32 entitlement. Its a game that seems to only really reward raiders greatly. The all get high and mighty and bully everyone else. Everyone else who is normal and an average player statistically. Forums are a breeding ground for elitist trolls who look down upon other people. ITS A COMPUTER GAME
