Do You Get Impatient?
Edit: I'm gonna stop doing this because I didn't realize it impacts the "Not Dying" bounty.

When I grind ROC strikes and I'm doing the Archon Priest strike, every time I get to the "Think they'd mind if we take their pikes?" part, I try to go straight to the strike-boss "arena" as fast as possible, bypassing all the adds along the way.
Frequently, I'm able to reach the zone where the respawns disable before my two teammates appear on the radar. If I can pull this off, I head straight for the edge of the arena and jump off. This triggers a wipe, since I'm the only one who's "registered" in the no-respawn zone.
Thanks for clarifying about this, wasn't aware of how the mechanic worked. TIL!

This is the sole reason why I don't run strikes with randoms. Thanks for a full list of people to mute. A bit more cancer has been cut from the forums on this day.

I like to glimmer farm while running strikes so I hate it when people do this crap.

3 AntwortenUsually I don't like it when people do that. But yesterday some guy jumped through the window at the 3 servitor part and he killed himself at the cliff as we finished the third servitor. Strike was done so fast :D

9 AntwortenRunning a ROC strike isn't hard guys. If both of the other players rush, you do the same. If both kill everything, you do the same. If they each do one and make you the tiebreaker, then you decide and if the 3rd guy doesn't like it too bad, he should concede to the other 2 people. Pretty simple really.

You play how you want to play same as the rest of us but I don't condone deliberately wiping, what gives you the right to deem how someone plays? Who says you're in the right by skipping through. Hate people like that, I skip the majority of some strikes but I never purposely wipe to teleport the people to me. You never know they could be doing a bounty especially the not dying one. Muted so I can avoid people like you.

5 AntwortenWhen I ran the strikes I had a hell of a time getting the achievement for a perfect strike because of people doing this. Destiny is a slot machine, each enemy killed is another pull at the machine. That's why some of us take our time. The question truly is which is faster: getting killed, splash screen the respawn or help the team get there? I honestly do not know. We are not talking 30 minutes either way for this section, but is it really that much quicker? Not trying to be a dick, I am serious, to me they seem about the same amount of time, with the chance of no loot, and the chance of loot. That said, I usually wait to see what the other people on the team do. The section with the pikes you can speed through. The second part of that with the hydras, usually the first person makes it, but the second and third usually get screwed. unless one of them goes right, but then there are the vex to deal with. I am ok with either, but wait to see because sometimes there is one that rushes through, one that doesn't. I'll help the one that doesn't. Had to laugh on the weekly though, as EVERY TIME I did that strike, someone, or both tried to rush through there only to be met with the minotaurs (void burn). After I killed everything, rezzed them, then they were slaughtered by the hydras. In ROC, this works, Nightfall / Weekly with void burn, no.

Hell, I usually don't care if we have to restart 3 times. Id rather go slow though. I also don't get angry in game. I know some people RAGE over the smallest things. Scary.
