Have had thorn since November, it use to take some skill to use it after the weapon the majority of thorn users are body shot spamming noobs, that's why it's seen as a nooby weapon.

This a person with just spams body shots as fast as they can, the only reason people die is because the DOT. Personally, I still prefer Red Death, I had one pre-patch and it still kicked ass, the regen usually cancels out thorns DOT.

True but it's the only gun you can use to cancel out dot. If I get shot twice using Hawkmoon, even if I kill the guy, I die cause dot. It just makes my effort a wash, especially if the entire enemy team is using it
