Just deleted everything and snapped my disc
I'm done. I'm a day one player with close to 600 hrs played. I made it official last night by deleting my characters and breaking my disc. I have an addictive personality and I've been struggling with school, work, my wife and destiny consuming my time. I think I'll go outside and find something new. Anyways just thought id share with all ya my choice and what I deleted.
Level 32 hunter
Complete vog gear
Complete crota gear
Complete iron banner gear minus helmet
All hunter exotics maxed out
Another 32 hunter
Both sets of maxed out raid gear
duplicate exotics; mask of the third man, don't touch me, radiant dance machines)

Edit 1: the game will not let you delete every character. I had to create a lvl 1 to delete my lvl 32 Titan.
I have a video on my phone I'll work on getting that uploaded for you non believers.
And yes I still have a shit ton of exotics In my fault. I thought it would have been deleted, I didn't realize that I had to create another.
I have every warlock exotic in the vault as well. With a set of dead orbit armor. If I went out bought another disc and grinded for a week or 2 I could have a 32 lock. But I'm not gonna do that

It turned me from a guy who turned on the ps4 or 360 maybe once a month into a person whos dropped 400 hours in. I've never played a game that felt like an addiction more than entertainment until i found Destiny. I doubt i'm alone. I think there are a lot of us that "grind" bounties and raids, not play them for fun. If it helps get you squared away then more power to ya. I'm happy for you. Now.......you have to quit the most addictive part of Destiny: the forums! NVM, old ass post. Gravediggers below me, now i'm one of em *double edit: This guy really DID quit. Check his post activity and last game played. Real deal. That's cool that he actually committed to it unlike everyone else who does it for attention, then keeps playing

Just don't get why you would bother posting if you really are done. Also if you really snapped the disc maybe that's why youre having problems. Very poor problem solving ability
