Just deleted everything and snapped my disc
I'm done. I'm a day one player with close to 600 hrs played. I made it official last night by deleting my characters and breaking my disc. I have an addictive personality and I've been struggling with school, work, my wife and destiny consuming my time. I think I'll go outside and find something new. Anyways just thought id share with all ya my choice and what I deleted.

Edit 1: the game will not let you delete every character. I had to create a lvl 1 to delete my lvl 32 Titan.
I have a video on my phone I'll work on getting that uploaded for you non believers.
And yes I still have a shit ton of exotics In my fault. I thought it would have been deleted, I didn't realize that I had to create another.
I have every warlock exotic in the vault as well. With a set of dead orbit armor. If I went out bought another disc and grinded for a week or 2 I could have a 32 lock. But I'm not gonna do that

The problem is you are not fixing your addictive nature by breaking the cd and deleting your characters. In the short run, yes. In the long run you will just find a new game or some other hobby to get add addicted to. Would have been better of if you put down goals on how to handle the playtime of the game your playing. For example maybe max 3 days a week 2 hours per time. All or nothing just doesn't work if you wanna fix the root to your problems. Dr. Phil signing out :0

2 AntwortenThere is such a thing as prioritizing. If you were having that much of a problem you could have just stopped playing and came back when things settled down. But instead you broke your disc and your data. If you were worried about your craving to come back to the game you could have just had your friend/parent/sibling/anyone trustworthy change your xbox live password until you proved that you were caught up. But hindsight is 20/20 I guess. You will no be forever labeled a scrub. Congrats

Why snap the disk instead of selling it to a gamestop or something? I'm sure gamestop would give you enough money for a soda or something. Regardless, wasted resources man!
