Bearbeitet von Phoenix_71: 3/24/2015 4:22:01 PMPlay the strike playlists as soon as you're able, at the highest level possible. Friend people who compliment your play style, and work together playing nightfalls and raiding as soon a you're able. (The fastest and highest percentage means to acquire higher level gear.) If and when you ask someone random for help, include info on what you'd like help on. Many people WILL help, but might be more inclined if you give them the courtesy of including what you'd like help with.

Play how you want. Make one of each class and try them out. They all have different styles, strengths and weaknesses. But they are all fun to play. Don't pay attention to the bitching in the forums. Once you can do bounties do them. They can get repetitive, but they help you level. Use the destinylfg.com when your ready to raid if you can't find a group. Destinypublicevents.com is great when you need to do that bounty for public events.

Make all three characters and level them up to lvl 5. Then go from least favorite to favorite and lvl to 10. Then decide your favorite and play on. Make sure not to forget about your other two though.

I main a hunter but if I was just starting out.. Don't be a hunter.. Either be a Titan or Warlock

I don't recommend the DLC at full price. And don't expect a story, just expect mindless shooting.

1 AntwortenDon't listen to anyone. Don't ask question to just anyone. Don't let the forums taint you early on. Survive.

Bearbeitet von Amadis001: 3/24/2015 3:53:38 PMDon't listen to anyone (except me). Just do what you want and have fun. It's a frickin' game but people will find 100 ways to tell you you're doing it wrong.

Just one, have fun

Bearbeitet von D2 Is Bad: 3/24/2015 3:52:08 PMMy greatest advice to anyone entering the world of Destiny for the first time is play as a lone wolf. If you play with your friends, even if it is subconcious, you rely on them to a degree. Starting off, it is best to play solo because then you only have yourself to count upon. Once you feel solid on your k/d ratio you can play with friends. It may sound stupid, but let your scores speak for themselves. I went from 2nd-3rd for most kills in a strike to 1st with 50-60 kills average above the other two people on the team.

3 tips.... Titan master race... Don't chase a ghorn down the rabbit hole as that will become your only reason for playing and when you do get it the game will feel hollow and pointless... Level up 3 characters of different classes as it keeps your game play fresh and still allows you to maximize all loot drops except armor (strange coins motes of light weapons and glinmer) have fun and welcome to the grind Guardian

Avoid the forums. They're poison.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Brine018: 3/24/2015 3:22:22 PMI would honestly start out with a warlock first. They're definitely the easiest noob class. Once you have that warlock leveled up create a second warlock. This will be easier for you to obtain armor for your first warlock. In addition, you can then swap your gear to have two high level warlocks which will make it easier to run raids and nightfalls to once again obtain more gear. After you have leveled up you're original warlock create a second character of your choice. Whether it be Titan or Hunter each class has it strengths/weaknesses. Once you have leveled your Titan/Hunter it is now time to delete your 2nd warlock (who helped you so dearly) and create your 3rd and final character. Having all three classes is fun and adds an advantage in raids and nightfalls. I'm sure people will disagree with starting on a warlock but in my opinion it's the easiest starting class.

Check the news for updates, stay away from the forums unless you want the occasional shit and giggle, and never take ANY posts seriously even if they don't include a #satire.
