Just bought destiny
Downloading now.
Any tips or tricks I should know before I start gaming?

Pick warlock, nova bombs might me one of the funniest things to do in destiny. Also, never delete your Khvostov (starting auto rifle). After you beat the campaign, if you have the dlc or plan on getting it, do roc strikes until you have enough vanguard marks and he vanguard rank 2. Then you can start buying high quality gear, which lets you run raids for more high quality gear and weapons. The rest you'll learn as you go.

You're stuck with your face for the whole game. Don't rush through the character creation, you'll hate yourself later. BTW. What platform?

get to vanguard rank 2 as fast as you can, becuz when HoW comes out, they are declining vanguard gear to level 29 instead of 31. that way, it makes everybody hav to play vog to lvel up to 30, then play crota to get to 32, then play HoW to get to 34, instead of just buying vanguard gear. hopefully they wont do that, but from what i saw on this guys hack into the next v gear, it said light level 27, which at highest can get u to level 29!!!

Work at ranking up your vanguard and earning vanguard marks while leveling to 20. Then purchase vanguard gear until your ready for crotas end. And secondly, bounties are your best friend to level your gear quickly.
