Please Nerf the Thorn
The Handcannon in general was nerfed because people were using it like mini sniper rifles. The Thorn, however can STILL be used like a mini sniper rifle and add on top of that that it takes 2-3 shots to down an enemy as well as it's rather high fire rate, it throws the balance of the crucible right into the Hellmouth. The thorn breaks the crucible (which has the usual PvP hit detection problems anyway) and you can fix it by balancing the Thorn.
No, I'm not expecting you to be able to completely fix the crucible but at least balancing the blatantly over-powered.

Seriously, stop with this nonsense. Thorn = Exotic. It is suppose to be a beast. Enough with this "Boo hoo it is not fair" garbage. If you want to mitigate the Thorn users, then get your own. For the most part, I have found the Thorn to be nothing special at all - in regular PvP my Stranger's Rifle can drop your standard Thorn user before they can pull off their second shot. And no, I do not use the Thorn in PvP. I did give it a go a while back, and found I would mostly get assists with it as people would run from me, and into my teammates.

Please nerf all weapons. Give the guardians large sticks. But, make sure those large sticks don't do too much damage, we wouldn't want people to cry about them.

Do you have the weapon? If you don't get it and then you'll take back every thing you said about it I have every single exotic in the game expect plan c SGA and vex those three Idc about Cuz they're bookie weapons. Just I really hate when people talk about nerfing things in crucible like df? It f*cks up PVP too dumb ass! 1 AntwortenI don't PVP often. But when I do, I don't get killed by Thorn that much. Also. I don't PVP often. But when I do, I use Thorn. And...I still suck at PVP so...there goes that argument. Its already been nerfed for PVP. Seriously though, until PVP and PVE get walled off from each other lets just stop with the nerf posts. Balance is not possible due to the variability between weapons. Perks and such, exotic or legendary. If a person has two of the same weapon one can still be superior to the other due to it's perks. Let that sink in for a moment. Think about it. The statement above is true. Why have different and unique guns if their unique abilities are rendered useless? Not trying to come across as a prick, just stating an observation. If you're gonna nerf the thorn, might as well nerf the red death, or perhaps the last word? Those are all 3 ridiculous pvp guns. If anything they need to rebuff the auto rifles. I miss being able to use my suros how it was meant to be used.

You can get out guned by other things easily. If your geting sniped by thorn by 2 shots just remember that they are trying to get 2 consistent head shots from a far distance.

The Thorn doesn't need to be nerfed. It has high recoil even with perfect balance. Most of the time when I use Thorn, I get a headshot, a body shot, and then an assist. You know why? I shoot them in the face and take half their health, like any other high impact handcannon, and then they freak out and run, resulting in my second shot hitting their fleeing ass. I've faced people using Thorn and won using plenty of guns, like Last Word, Vex Mythoclast, and Vision of Confluence. You just have to stay mobile and let them not land headshots. Oh, and stick them with grenades.

Thorn definitely kicked my ass a fair share in iron banner but if you are so flustered with people using it on you then why dont you just use one? Its not like the other players are the only ones who can use it. The playing fields level my friend either beat them at their own game or be better than them.

Agree it needs changing the damage is not an issue its the fact you get people shooting at a name and getting 2-3 shot kills at scout rifle range. Hand cannon range still to high

Before you say nerf it; try getting one first. or at least own one. otherwise, your argument is invalid and all your base are belongs to us. lol idk why i added that last part but yes.
