1 AntwortenThe following rules should apply to all further NERF posts to ensure a valid opinion is being given: - more than 200,000 crucible score across all your characters, so at least that way you have had sufficiently broad experience to back up your opinions - a positive KDR is also important, otherwise there is the real chance that any NERF thread is a knee jerk response to being killed - several hours of experience using the weapon that you want NERFED. If you have not used it substantially in PVP then do not voice your opinion on it - sufficient knowledge of the weapons history in the game re: past nerfs and buffs - sufficient knowledge of the current meta in the game: which other weapons are capable of two shotting an opponent in the hands of a competent user under stable network conditions? Moreover, any post wanting to NERF primary weapons needs to account for the fact that Shotguns are also usable as primary weapons for the entirety of any match.

It can only kill with 2 shots (plus DOT) if your armor rating is crap or if the shots are spaced out enough to have the poision get you twice. If your armor is maxed, they need a third shot to take you down. Either way, the DOT takes like 10 seconds to finish you off. A smart person will finish the thorn user off before they get killed by DOT.

I aim with Last Word and out gun Thorn users most of the time. I think your problem is just that if you play Iron Banner, you will get hit by Thorn damage modified by its level and the player levels, which can make it considerably more powerful than normal, given that the damage over time will be increased as a well as the damage per shot. Frankly, I don't get the chance to play all week every week, so I don't really play Iron Banner that much anymore. Especially since it just seems to be where everyone brings their 32 with a fully upgraded Mythoclast, Red Death, or Suros. Well, that and I miss the Queen's Wrath.

Stop asking for nerfs it's counter productive. Getting the thorn nerfed will not make you better. instead what is thorn op compared too and how can other weapons be buffed to level it out. Buffs not nerfs...
