Finally got the Gjallarhorn after 30+ days, 70+ RNG exotics!!!!
EDIT May 26th, I FINALLY got the Gjallarhorn on Tuesday, reset day. I did Crota normal 3x, Nightfall 3x, and Atheon Hard 3x, on my last Atheon encounter, on my Titan I saw it pop up. I was ecstatic! I had previously got a Dragon's Breath, Truth, No Land Beyond, and The Last Word, the same day from said previous activities ^
The curse has been broken! After 70+ exotics from RNG i FINALLY EARNED MY GJALLARHORN!!!!!
After having Destiny from Day 1, thoroughly enjoying the gameplay and raiding with friends, I've decided enough is enough. I just can't deal with how Destiny's reward system is based off of RNG. Whose bright idea was that?
After getting my 5th Universal Remote, and 8th Dragon's Breath from Crota Hard today i was like "F*** It, I'm done".
I've completed every Nightfall since day 1, every raid since day 1, including VoG and CE on Hard with all 3 characters for MONTHS IN A ROW. And yet this game STILL won't reward me with a Gjallarhorn, even after giving my friends their 3rd or 4th ones while I'm in the same game. Complete Bull****. 30 days of game time, F*** RNG.

NO ONE has worse luck than me. Tell me what are the "random" chances of THIS happening?
Let me know when you get 56 Exotic weapons, out of 15 possible weapons, and have them all be duplicates, and not 1 Gjallarhorn or Mida.

EDIT: Such a toxic community. For those of you showing sympathy and encouragement, I thank you. The community needs more people like you all.
EDIT 2: To the people who think I quit just because i didn't get the Gjallarhorn- no that's not true. Hunger of Crota is just as viable an option. What brought me to my boiling point was the sheer amounts of Dragon's Breaths and No Land Beyonds i got in this last month. It's so infuriating how RNG was seen as a good option for what could have been an amazing game.

Lol! Your lucky I'm a day one player and I've not got half of them! My exotic drops are: Thunderlord, P&T, universal remote, dragons breath and truth. All I get is replicas of these! The rest I've had to Xurn!

I also roll a stupid number of Dragon's breath and No Land Beyonds from CE - I don't think it's truly random, I think some of the items are weighted. Also, I rolled my second Gjallarhorn on CE normal yesterday. If it frustrates you, you should quit - gaming should be fun, and if you aren't having fun...

2 AntwortenDoes it matter? It gives you something to work for. I've done Crota like 15 times and VoG around 25. Still no fatebringer or black hammer, only ever seen 2 black hammers drop. I just carry on, so what if you don't get what you want? That's the point if the game

I'm sorry about your feeling of entitlement. I have done exactly as you and also don't have one. I don't really care for one since Hawkmoon and hunger beat the he'll out of gjhorn with anything else. None the less this game is much better drop rate then more mmo games so this tells me you will never be able to enjoy playing games unless you can buy your gear.....
