Thorn needs a buff
The thorn is supposed to be the most powerful weapon in the game, but for some reason gjallarhorn is somehow more powerful. It's complete crap and Bungie has no idea how to make a game.
There is no reason I should ever lose a fight to a gjallarhorn user if I'm using a thorn, it should be brought up to the Gjallarhorn level or better.

5 AntwortenUgh this nonsense once again. There's no reason to nerf it as there are better rocket launchers for PvP. I've only been killed by a GHorn when comparable rocket MIGHT not have killed me once. I saw might not because I'm fairly certain that Truth would have hit me dead on and a launcher with cluster bombs would have killed me anyway. I don't care if it's overkill for PvE. I rarely use it, but I like for it to be as powerful as it is for the few times I do use it. Especially when I'm with noobs and I need it's firepower, not because I can't handle myself, but because they can't handle themselves. Gets old wiping on Atheon because the noobs can't get the mechanics down on Normal.

Stop hating i wish you bad luck and hope you never get one also you will now be in the #gallyhaters list.

Watching some of the boss kill videos on youtube with it, it just a ridiculous damage weapon and trivializes the majority of PVE encounters and most of the end game activities. No other weapon even comes close from a pure damage perspective. I'm guessing that is why they haven't let Xur sell it anymore, they realized its a bit of a broken/OP weapon in PVE and they are just trying to figure out how to "adjust" it w/o pissing off the players who have it. It also, by all accounts on the forums, appears to be the weapon with the lowest drop rate in RNG and I'm sure that was tuned by Bungie after seeing everyone foaming at the mouth for the launcher. At this point though we are 6 months into the game so I doubt you see anything happen to it, they'd rather just nerf auto rifles into the ground while ignoring the bugs that are still in Vault of Glass, lol.
