I just ran sword for the first time on hard mode Crota's End. And let me tell you, I was amazing at it. 4 hits each kneel for the first sword, then 4 and 1, and finally 3 and 2. Yeah, I know, other people like to go all out and kill him with less swords or other things. But for doing it the first time on hard, I consider that pretty damn good. Now I'm told to do it all the time haha. So, being the leader of my clan, I'm now efficient in all aspects of each raid. Didn't even have the boots that make me go faster with the sword.
