For voidwalker, try every perk that steals super energy (eg. Soul Rip), get yourself Bad Juju and Obsidian Mind, and paint the town purple. I've been playing with a sunsinger build around Monte Carlo and the Ahamkara gauntlets - smack mobs around and burn 'em, constant flame shields, constant trickle of orbs.

For voidwalker I use all skills that affect the vortex nova bomb. I run annihilate, and vortex mastery. I also run life steal for the melee. I use initial burst and swap between axion bolt and vortex grenade, as for my agility armor and recovery I balance them out. For sunsinger I focus on burning the enemy. I use touch of flame and Viking funeral along with the solar grenade. I also use initial burst for the glide. Always use flame shield for the melee. As for the super I alternate it a lot it depends on the situations for raiding and nightfalls I use fireborn and for pvp and pretty much everything else I use radiant skin. It goes hand in hand with heart of the praxic Fire. You can also use the extra grenade perk if you wish.

Sunsinger will be your most survivable class. Flame shield is a great way to get out of a tough spot. Radiance also slows incoming damage and gets you stupid fast grenade cool down time. Radiance is also the easiest ability to spawn orbs for your teammates with. Nova bomb can create max orbs, but you've gotta kill enough enemies in the single shot you get. Radiance gives you 6 or more grenades and about 2-3 scorches to get those kills. Also, some exotics people consider to be void walker items work great for sunsingers. Obsidian mind:it doesn't care which super its charging, it still speeds up the charge. Nova bomb recharge is lost, but this is probably still the best warlock helmet in general. Voidfang vestments:spawns you with full grenades. This still applies to double grenade using sunsingers. Yeah you lose the axiom bolt boost. Eh, it's still possibly useful.

Just please never combine Heart of the Praxic fire and Fireborn. Such a waste.

Do not, use fireborn in the crucible. It will not help you. Use radiant skin.

Shotgun melee combo is op for all warlocks !

1. Only use self-res to avoid restarting. If a teammate is alive, wait and see if he revives you. 2. Nova bomb is better used on clusters of weak enemies than large bosses. 3. When using voidwalker, choose your upgrades so that each ability cools down your other abilities. 4. Regarding perks, sunsinger > voidwalker but not by much. Any questions?

When it comes to any class, you tend to often change classes depending on the situation. Here's what I use for my warlock. Grenade - Jump - Super Charge - Melee - Stat 1 - Ability 1 - Stat 2 - Ability 2 Voidwalker - PVE: [spoiler] Axion bolt - Focused Burst - Shatter - Soul Rip - Arcane Force - Annihilate - Divine Order - Bloom 3 - 2 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 1 - 3 - 2 This allows a lot of explosions and the splash damage to come with. It's very useful in situations with mobs and/or clusters of enemies. You'll be able to clear areas very well. [/spoiler] Voidwalker - PVP: [spoiler] Axion Bolt - Focused Burst - Vortex - Surge - Arcane Wisdom - The Hunger - Chaos Order - Embrace the Void 3 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 3 Grenades: You may want to use Vortex grenades if you're playing objective based games. The Scatter Grenade tends to be very weak unless you're hitting them dead on. Axion Bolts puts a lot of pressure on your enemy to move it or get blasted Movement: First off, Focused Control is horrible for PVP; You don't want to spend too much time floating around. I use Focused Burst to do small quick jumps. A lot of people use Blink... I just never got used to it. Supers: Get used to the drop-off on Vortex and Scatter. Also remember the drift if you're dropping your Nova Bomb mid jump. You can also damage yourself if you shoot your Nova Bomb into the door jam in front of you. Lance is more for PVE; It's hard to shoot a Lance and hit someone across the map. Energy Drain: The weapon and movement mobility is great in PVP, especially when you don't have to kill someone Surge. The other two are useful as well, however, Surge will proc more often than the other two. Stat modifiers: Toughness is not utilized in PVP; Use these trees on recovery and movement speed. Abilities: The Hunger allows me to utilize Surge more. The other two abilities won't proc as often. I can see someone using Annihilate and Vortex Mastery with great effect while the Voidfang Vestments are equipped, however, I will prioritize agility over my grenades.[/spoiler] Sunsinger PVE: [spoiler] Fusion Grenade - Focused Burst - Situational Super - Brimstone - Arcane Spirit - Sunburst - Divine Order - Gift of the Sun 3 - 2 - ? - 3 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 3 Fusion Grenades are always a good source of DPS. Solar grenades aren't bad, however, they cause monsters to jump and roll around like crazy. Again, with the jumps, I like to do my jumps in short quick bursts. I try not to float around anywhere too much. Supers.... Song of Flame is only good if you're in a team and able to coordinate your super to work with everyone else. It's kinda moot if noone else is throwing grenades or using their melee. Radiant Skin would be default for most scenarios. The defense boost really helps out when you're in a tough situation. Fireborn should only be used in Nightfalls or Hard Raids as a clutch move. When hitting people with a melee attack, it's a flop between Flame Shield and Brimstone; Solar wind isn't useful unless you're trying to move people who are AFC. If are skilled enough to survive without an overshield, use Brimstone. As per the usual, Toughness and Recovery in PVE, Recovery and Speed in PVP. For skills, Viking funeral can really only be maximized if paired with Touch of Flame. Aside from that, the extra grenade is very useful. When with teammates, Sunburst is always helpful to create that extra orb. If you're alone or aren't able to get up and personal, Radiant Will is the way to go.[/spoiler] Sunsinger PVP: [spoiler] 2/3 - 2 - 1/2 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 3 When it comes to grenades, Solar grenades are helpful at controlling objectives, Firebolt grenades are useful at finishing someone who ran off to a corner after a firefight, and Fusion grenades are good to stick people and forget about them. I use glides per the previous explanations I gave and Flame Shield gives the obvious advantage in PVP. Again, Song of Flame is only good if you have a coordinated team who knows when they're getting the song; It's a really powerful support tool. Radiant Skin is probably still the way to go, however. Avoid Fireborn; more than often, you'll just get a shotgun to the face while in the resurrection animation. When it comes to ability enhancers, Viking Funeral and Touch of Flame provide a nice burn, however, I'd probably go with Gift of the Sun.[/spoiler]

My favorite warlock build is still: Solar Grenade, Radiant Skin, and Gift of the Sun. Max out Intellect bonus and bring up your discipline as much as possible, then throw on the sunbreakers and have a blast. You can also substitute in Heart of the Praxic Fire, if you want. I love using this in VoG, especially in the Templar's Well.

If you use sunsinger, I get my agility maxed out and used radiant skin on everything except the raids, during a rain I switch radiant skin to fireborn also on raid use the first grenade and on everything else I use the other 2 (just on whatever I'm feeling) ((sorry no clue what the grenades are actually called))

If you want void walker I REPEAT DONT HIT THE CORNERS. Trust me it might be tempting but don't do it

Been playing sense day 1 but i wouldn't call myself "experienced" sense I'm only level 27. But I recommend getting blink ASAP. Easily the best jump ability in the game, destroys noobs in PvP and gets you out of a lot of situations in PvE.

Voidwalker+maxed out juju+ maxed out obsidian mind=fun

PVE Setup: Voidwalker: Obsidian Mind + Bad Juju (Soul Rip + The Hunger + Embrace the Void). This will make you throw constant Nova Bombs. Sunsinger: Heart of the Praxic Fire (Flameshield + Radiant Skin + Gift of the Sun + Radiant Will). Best DPS in the game.

Use voidwalker its a lot better in the long run, helps your team out so much more than a couple grenades. Buuuut if you suck giant c ocks and cant stay alive use sunsinger. Advice from a pro

level up both sub-classes. Voidwalker and Sunsinger have distinct advantages depending on the scenario and load out. Exotic gear vastly affects the playstyle (moreso than other classes imo). With that said, i'd have to know the scenario to provide a good loadout and gear suggestion.

Pro Tip: Don't use Fireborn unless on the Nightfall. Just use Song of Flame/Radiant Skin and actually use your super. A lot of people keep their super for a pocket revive, don't do that. Be offensive with it.

Take a peek at mine if you want....guns are not configured...I've been upgrading and rotating them like mad..... but armor is good..waiting for raid helm.... Sunsinger and Voidwalker configurations available...ask and ill switch it out if you want to see. The configurations seem to work very good for me.

Radiance isn't your only option try to use radiant skin also starfish protocol>2 grenade perk. Use grenades that do dot effect. Only if I can bring myself to use these tips

In crucible if you're going sunslinger, instead of going with the extra grenade, I'd suggest using the perk that causes grenades to do burn damage along with viking funeral. Plus if you have starfire protocol you can still have two fusion grenades
