ATS/8 Arachnid
Alright Hunters,
So, I finally upgraded my ATS/8 Arachnid (took long enough!) to unlock the "exotic perk", and I must say, it's a bit melodramatic. Wouldn't it make more sense for this helm to unlock a pair of perks from the Sub-Class tree, similar to the Helm of Inmost Light for Titans (unlocks Headstrong and Death from above)!? Like maybe Combustion (killing enemies with Golden Gun causes them to explode) and Keyhole (Golden Gun overpenetrates and can damage multiple targets)!? Just a thought...

Would have been better if it gave you third eye when using golden gun. Or I agree gave you like chain of woe and gunslingers trance. Something more useful then a zoom.

6 AntwortenConsidering GG isnt hard to hit your target with anyway the perk is just a waste,almost as if they couldn't think of anything.been playing my Titan recently (just started) and the armor they get is ridiculous compared,ruins wings,arma,Saint 14. Also forgot about the useless ahahkaras spine

Waste of glimmer and shards, perk is useless. Easily the worst helm for the hunters.

1 AntwortenThis would make for a better helmet. The Arachnid is simply outclassed by Achlyophage. Yeah, additional zoom is good, but it's hard to miss with the Golden Gun either way.

I wish it made enemies points on the radar life teammates show up. I mean, the helmet is all eyes, what the Hell else would it be?

The perk sucks, which is a shame since I really like how the helm looks.

It's the worst Hunter helm by far. IMO Mask > Symbiote > Knucklehead > Ats/8

I want a hunter piece that unlocks the two precision kill perks so I can get some of the other cool talents in those columns. I also really like your idea of a piece that beefs up the GG. Since it's already a one-shot in PvP it's not like it would become OP lol.

I find that most hunter exotic armor doesn't have huge amazing perks( like HoPF or helm of inmost light ) so I just get the armor for the cosmetics and the stats.

Cosmetically looks the freakin best but that perk just doesn't seem worthy. Maybe just got too used to having that 4th shot.

All the negativity quelled my expectations so when I finally unlocked the perk I was very pleased. I was able to snipe the vandal at the end of the divide from the "wall exit". Some snipers don't have that kind of range!

1 AntwortenYep I agree. Was leveling it up in crucible and had major tunnel vision while using GG. Combustion would be a bit OP so I'd go for adding Keyhole or maybe even the range perk "over the horizon"

1 AntwortenI agree. Love the way it looks, but it's a bit underwhelming. Cool, but not worth an exotic slot. It makes the Symbiote for Gunslingers an easy choice.

1 AntwortenStarted leveling it up today and then decided to shard it to max HoTPF for my warlock. Not regretting it.
